Nothing like that would scare me!! I enjoy stories of that nature! But I do understand they could take a long time. Read mine on the previous page? Smile

I totally believe in Angels, I have had a few encounters over the years the most recent was just a couple of months ago, I was home alone when I decided I wanted to bring down a large sofa that I was storing upstairs in a spare bedroom. I got it to the top of the stairs and had it stood up on it’s end, I did something I don’t usually do when lugging furniture down stairs and I stood in front of it, as I was trying to work out how to get it down it fell towards me, I lost my balance and started falling backwards down the stairs, somehow, I managed to grab hold of the banister but that sofa should of continued to fall and take me with it but it didn’t, it was like someone or something was holding it and stood it back up. I actually said “thank you” out loud to whoever it was that saved me from having a nasty accident.

I felt so calm afterwards, I would of and should of been in shock but I just had such a warm, calm feeling with me all day. I have always felt my Grandad was with me as I often smell his pipe smoke around my house but recently my hubby got up in the night and saw a woman stood at the top of the stairs so maybe it was her who helped me out, who ever it was I'm just pleased they was there.

It is such a comfort and yet such an odd concept at the same time!! I always wonder what it is like for them on the other side! I am so afraid of death and I think if I knew the answer to that then I wouldn't be so fearful!!  But I guess its just for me to trust the "powers that be" and just go with the flow when it happens!

I think being a Mom makes you more scared of dying and leaving them to grow up without you. Then it's even more scary thinking of something happening to them. I don't think we have a choice really - everything is already mapped out for us. On that note I bid you both Night Night - don't know where everyone else went!

Yeah, I know what you mean Krissy, during the day I'm ok with the thought of death and afterlife etc but at night when I can't sleep I start to think about it all and the thought of death scares me. I have seen quite allot of people die at work and none of them have looked frightened, they always look so peaceful, it's just the unknown though isn't it.
