Rowan, M.D. after my fourth visit in a row of slightly elevated blood pressure has started to worry my good Doctor. For relaxation though I am also re-reading a series of Medieval murder mysteries called the 'Matthew Bartholomew Mysteries' by Susanna Gregory. I do so like historical fiction, I find it a great way to learn some history while enjoying a bit of intrigue. |

I agree Sue, historical fiction is a great way to liven up otherwise boring facts. |

I loved the Sharpe series by Bernard Cornwell and Ellis Peters books . And now I'm in trouble because www.betterworld.com is doing a 5 for $15 sale on books ! Looks like I'm going to ask one of my daughters to leave home to make room for my books ! |

I don't have time for much pleasure reading but I'm just starting The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. It's a novel, but it's about cathedral building in 12th century England. That's right up my alley. A couple of people I know have recommended it, as well as its sequel. World Without End.
