It's called Murder for Christmas and it's "26 tales of Yuletide malice." The authors include Agatha Christie, Ellery Queen, Damon Runyon, O. Henry, GK Chesterton, Dorothy Sayers, and there's even a Sherlock Holmes one by Conan Doyle and an obscure Dickens on that I've not heard of called "To Be Taken With A Grain Of Salt." I like the book because all the stories are short and sweet, and I can only find a little time here and there for reading. So I put aside Pillars of the Earth for now and will hopefully finish Murder... by Christmas. (reading the book, I mean. lol)

It always upsets me more than it should :( My favourite book is Middlemarch, which everyone else hates, but it's actually lovely, honestly... The best picture books are the Rupert Bear books! I remember covering Simon Baron Cohen briefly at A Level...I remember finding him uncomfortable chauvinistic, but I can't quite remember why. Is he related to Sacha Baron Cohen? |
