Hi Mick:  Today as I was dusting my vast collection of unread books, I came across one that I think I got at some after Christmas sale last year or the year before.  It's called Murder for Christmas and it's "26 tales of Yuletide malice."  The authors include Agatha Christie, Ellery Queen, Damon Runyon, O. Henry, GK Chesterton, Dorothy Sayers, and there's even a Sherlock Holmes one by Conan Doyle and an obscure Dickens on that I've not heard of called "To Be Taken With A Grain Of Salt."  I like the book because all the stories are short and sweet, and I can only find a little time here and there for reading.  So I put aside Pillars of the Earth for now and will hopefully finish Murder... by Christmas. (reading the book, I mean.  lol)

I'm reading Brideshead Revisited. It always upsets me more than it should :(

My favourite book is Middlemarch, which everyone else hates, but it's actually lovely, honestly...

The best picture books are the Rupert Bear books!

I remember covering Simon Baron Cohen briefly at A Level...I remember finding him uncomfortable chauvinistic, but I can't quite remember why. Is he related to Sacha Baron Cohen?

It was a puppet show in the 70s too.
