I have all the confidence in the world.. one of the guys here will save Diana from the pits of loneliness...Rhett..Ray...someone out there?!!!  This is why we need as many guys here as gals. You aren't married for 43 years and stand up an say things are always groovy, sweet, and can be considered to be telling the truth you know. But I figure your doing pretty good if you got an home, and some kids that aren't hungry and crying, and you not talking to the cops every time your hubby is home, and he honeslty does have work that's paying something, and he's not drinking it away, he's not out with the girls, or the guys more often then he's home. And his "toys" are within reason. I know an lot of gals that don't have this at all and are married, but if only for themselves at times trying to cope with the bad habits of life by their husbands,... and some girls are not to keen either to their guys. Takes two to tangle. there are good times and there are bad times. You work at it constantly. diana is an decent looking gal, she'll find her mate in due time if there's one out there meant to be her guy only. We had an neighbor gal one time that didn't marry until she was in her 50's. She had bought her house and lived in it for many years as an single person by the time she got married. Always had people around, maybe she was raising relatives or something.  One never knows.

Hi Diana.  You had a couple of good uns there my dear! (not!!)  There are lovely people out there and you are a lovely person!  When my third marriage ended, I was on my own for 5 years and promised myself that I would never, ever get involved with another fella.  WRONG!  I met Neil, to whom I have been married for 6 years, on an internet dating site.  He is a dear, dear man and we are very compatible.  To think-I nearly didn't reply to the email he sent me-I am so very glad I did.  During my time alone, I dragged myself back from depression, learned a lot about life and started to enjoy living alone and doing things that I wanted to.  Then I had to learn to be married again!  I truly believe that 'there is someone for everyone' as they say!  Good luck Diana-dont give up eh?Laughing

I have a friend who had four failed marriages (problems on both sides, as Shirley says, takes two to  tangle). She too swore off marriage, but then met her husband now of 20 years, and it makes her guts tie in knots knowing that she almost turned him down.

We have sun! The snow has melted here in the valley, and just hangs around in the mountains enough to provide us with some summer water in our taps.

Today is going to be a good day.
