Oh they give you a 'failed' certificate here, then they give you an estimate of the repair costs.

When you have been placed in the 'recovery' position, and have regained consciousness, you book the car in for the repairs, then go to the bank and re-mortgage your property. lol

Hi Ray, What does that mean you have to have your car inspected?? Who does that and why?

Alabama doesn't do vehicle inspections, although I can recall seeing many on the road when I lived there that would have failed straightaway!  In Virginia we have state inspection as well as paying personal property tax on our vehicles (translates to two stickers on the windshield).  Our inspection checks to make sure the basics are working (lights, turn indicators, sufficient tire tread, etc.) and every other year we have emissions inspection.

I didn't know you didn't have inspections in Alabama!!  Here in New Jersey, you have 30 days to fix your vehicle before reinspection!  If you don't you can be pulled over and given a ticket!! My jeep failed for the emergency break not being tight enough!

Thats what i would love to do , we are only going to stay in London for 1 1/2 days really just to see the few main sites and plan is to head toward Whiltshire and Devon & Cornwall??i think thats right and if time left i would love to go toward York but not sure if we will have the time but plan on going as much as we can!!;-))

I am so glad you had a wonderful time! and your back safe;-)) I was in your place the last time we went to europe my husband had to change our seats ( luckly they had a few others open) beacuse the lady sitting by me was so big we could not let the armrest down and she was sitting on half my leg. I felt bad for her but worse for me my leg was falling asleep, lol

Hi everyone! I'm feeling a bit sad as my middle baby has gone on a school trip for 4 days! He has never been away from us before - not even for a night. My eldest has never gone away so this is the first time for me. I am missing him already. We are not allowed to phone him either. Frown I had to miss waving him off as I had to go to the dentist to have my stitches out - only appointment this week. At least the weather is lovely so he should be having a great time.
