Thanks Diana! I missed you too.

Ray, you really looked hard for a Cornish Pasty. What a treasure hunt that was!! Yes, I really enjoyed Skittles! That was a lot of fun!! Wished we could do it again. And it certainly was a pleasure to meet you too. I am looking forward to coming back and seeing you again. And hopefully Stephanie too.

Thanks Krissy. It was wonderful to be able to talk with you too.

I hope you have a splendid time Debbie. And I hope the weather cooperates too!! A Cornish Pasty is filled with beef, potatoes, onion, carrots and turnip with some seasoning. They vary, as some the potatoes were mushy and the beef very tender and broken up while others the potatoes were in chunks and the beef was in chunks. Very tasty!!

Kinda like Chicken pot pie but beef instead? Sounds good i will have to try that,;-) I am always up for teying food,,LOL except those goat  organs and things like that,,no way;;-))

I hope to start by the weekend. I am having trouble adjusting back into the routine. I will be excited to see all of them too! Thanks!

Where do you plan to visit when you get over there?

Depending on the time we will start in London only 1 1/2 days than head to whiltshire, Devon, & cornwall? I think thats right and if we have enough time i would love to go to York and around that area to. It just depends on time we will be ther for 10 days so we will see what we can cover but like you I dont care about the tourist things I love the countryside and villages. We will see a few tourist things in London and of course Stonehendge.

Sounds exciting Debbie. You should look into staying at the Travel Lodges. They are very reasonable, usually with some kind of food service next to them and fuel services as well.

If I was you I would spend my time in all the first three places you mentioned. In fact you could spend your whole visit just in Cornwall and still wouldn't see everything.  There is so much to see just there that you would be amazed. It is quite a long drive from the South to York.

You also have to remember that the best and quickest way to get there is the M4 to the M5 and pick up the A30 in Exeter, after that it is all small roads which will slow you up quite a bit. Going to Devon and Cornwall via Stonehenge on the A303 will really slow you up.

You should get on the net and research each county to see what they have to offer as far as attractions and local information. Plan your route ahead. Remember you need to be at the airport 3 hours prior to your flight, going and coming. You will have to get through Border Patrol. And Border Patrol in England is very tight!!

I hope this info has helped you in some way. I'd like to see you relax and not have to rush about and miss things that could be quite enjoyable. I am praying for you to have a lovely trip with sunshine all the way!! Smile

Oh Debbie, I so envy you...in a good way! Smile I do hope you get to tour York (one of my favorite cities) and it would be so nice if you could connect with our Andy while you are there.
