Thank you so much Debbie! Good to see you! And thanks to Paul for pointing you in the right direction. I loved that house too and the Abbey. The grounds were so pretty as well. And the picture of the blue Jaguar, I wished I had one like it! I would love to go for long country rides in it.

Hi Cath, hope you enjoyed England, though a bit early in the year. Seen some of your great pics, you can pick-up a good 'used' Jag quite cheaply here at the moment but it will cost you an arm and a leg to transport it back to the states. I recently made my Canadian Grandson a wooden toy truck, I went to the post office and they wanted £40 to send it to vancover, it only wieghed 1.5 kg lol

Debbie, when I went to England I ate all the things I planned to (full English breakfast every day, fish and chips, shepherd's pie, curries, real ale, scones with jam and clotted cream, cakes with afternoon tea, Cadbury flakes) and I actually lost two pounds!  It's all the walking.  You will do so much walking that you shouldn't have to worry about gaining any weight.  Go enjoy yourself!

Thanks Michael! I did enjoyed it more than I could ever tell you. I know how expensive it is to mail packages. I sent someone in England homemade cookies in the mail and it cost $25. You'd have thought they were made of gold. xxx

How sweet to make your Grandson a wooden truck! Do you do a lot of woodworking?
