I vaguely recall reading something, the details of which I have of course forgotten. When I was growing up, we always put salt on our melons, watermelon, cantaloupe, etc. I have to have both, I'm afraid - savory followed by sweet. I'm trying to minimize the sweet though. Just a bite will do, really, such as a Dove Dark Promise (sounds intriguing doesn't it?). My favourite: Pictures \| Towns \| Attractions
