I've always had a sweet tooth but as I get older, I'm losing my passion for chocolate and biscuits etc. I still love fruit cake and scones though.

Babs tell me a good way to eat scones, I tried one and i didnt put anything on it and it was ok but a little bland, Starbucks here started selling them with maple honey kinda cooked inside and it was good warm. How do you all eat them?

Debbie, although the picture Jason has posted up looks great, I personally can't eat all that cream. I slice my scones, spread butter and jam (jelly) on them. Sometimes, I leave the jam off though prefering the taste of the butter against the scone itself.

Big difference between jam and jelly:

Jelly is gelatinous and does no spread easily

Jam is thick, almost sauce-like consistency, and spreads easily (insert your favorite cheeky comment here)
