Add1/4 cup of light coconut milk, 1 T natural crunchy peanut butter, 1 t. red pepper flakes, and 1 t fresh grated ginger. Continue to cook until well combined and then spoon over 1/2 cup steamed brocolli and 1/4 c shredded carrots. Serve 1 medium orange on the side. This diet is very generous with using almonds, walnuts, and peanut butter. I have always left peanut butter and jelly or Jam on the counter for anyone whose hungry to make them an sandwhich if needed...esp the kids. It' s one of the first things they manuver. Haven't you ever heard of Jimmie Buffet's little tune about the guys that steal the peanut butter out of the local mini-market..and it they ever get "rich"... they plan on paying it back to the min-market...in the meantime they are enjoying the flavor of something to eat. It tickled my funny bone first time I heard it...has an real swingy little beat to it. Not quite like some of his other more popular tunes, it still has its own flavor in the over all of the muscial album. |
