I, too, am gutted by the loss of our friend, Lyn.  She will be sorely missed.  My condolences to you Peter, and to her family.

I hope she hasn't ran into the medical "smut" I have lately, I could see how she would never survive anything. She's to young to be passing over in my mind also. I think she had several little kids also didn't she? Doesn't seem right. May God intervene and find an "truth" in affairs here and help her loved ones. My condolences, I didnt' know her long but she seemed an good person and an caring one at that.

This is really devastating news.  I couldn't even concentrate at work today because all I could do was think about Lyn.  She was one of the first people to welcome me here and could always make me smile.  I called her my little English rose.  I had kept in touch with her by email too, and I emailed her to thank her for the lovely birthday card she mailed me (in the mail), and never received a reply.  I'd hoped that she was either very busy or on vacation.  But this news is really hard to take.

Babs, Lyn was from Bedfordshire, and always spoke her mind.  She was a good friend.  Shirley, she has kids, twin sons and they are adults now.  I'm going to send them a card because I want them to know how much her friends in cyberspace cared for her.

I have now found out she will be cremated on the 3rd of August at 12 noon. I will be there at the Chapel to say my goodbye's. It will be a long day as it is a three to four hour drive, but she is worth it.

Yes Debbie, she was special to all of us who came to know her. I will pass on all your good wishes to her son's if they have time to talk to me.
