Say a whispered, I love you, to Lyn for me while you are there Peter. I am glad you are able to go. It's good that someone from POE can be there to represent all of us here who love her.

I've been reading some of Lyn's old posts here on POE. She always made me laugh.

I have now found out she will be cremated on the 3rd of August at 12 noon. I will be there at the Chapel to say my goodbye's. It will be a long day as it is a three to four hour drive, but she is worth it.

Yes Debbie, she was special to all of us who came to know her. I will pass on all your good wishes to her son's if they have time to talk to me.

I will try to be there with you Peter, I will be in touch soon. Lyn was a very special lady but I always thought that when I made my way down to Luton it would be to say "hello" not "goodbye".

I am so sorry that you didn't get the chance to meet Lyn in person, Lyn.

I hope you and Peter are able to make it to her service, we will all be with you in spirit.

Thank you Sue, I am so sorry I never got to meet Lyn in person, my mistake was putting it off, thinking I will get around to it and what’s the hurry, I thought I had all the time in the world but sadly I didn’t and it’s to late now, a lesson well and truly learnt.

Lyn,

Don't blame yourself for that. We have all done the same thing. she knew what a good friend you were to her, and would hate to think you were blaming yourself.
