You might find the latest low-carb diet interesting, Sue. It's called, The Big Breakfast Diet. Basically, it's a low carb diet but healthier than any of the others I've tried IMHO.

According to the doctor who wrote the book it's not what you eat (in moderation of course) so much as when you eat it. Her case studies show that if you eat in sync with your body's natural circadian rhythms and eat the your healthy carbs (whole grains, milk, fruits etc) before 9am, and then eat very low carb for the remainder of the day you can lose up to 25 pounds in 30 days.

The beauty of this diet is that you are allowed one serving of any sweet you want, be it cake, pie, ice-cream, or CHOCOLATE every day as long as you eat it before 9am (10am in the fall/winter)!

Any diet that allows chocolate is worth a look in my book. Lol. ;-)
