When I was a child I used to eat Cadburys drinking chocolate powder- couldn't stand it as a drink though!

My eldest Joe used to have marmite and jam on the same sandwich when he was little.

I was visiting relatives in Studham (Bedfordshire) in 1974 while I was on a break from student teaching in Winchester. My young cousin Oliver, who was about 8 years old at the time, dared me to eat a piece of chocolate cake with a big dollop of Branston Pickle on top. To his astonishment, I ate the whole thing--it wasn't half bad!

I do like to eat pickles with a glass of milk! My family used to cringe when I did!

A Bombay Oyster is half a glass of vinegar with a raw egg dropped in ift and drink it down, my brother used to do it as it is supposed to be very healthy, (that was in the days before salmonella)
