to-morrow it is one of my favorite dinners,i meet a couple of old mates on a monday have a few drinks "not in excess" get home about 6pm and have chips and home made steak and kidney pie mushy peas.

Now that made me think of something I have really missed since leaving England, anything made with suet, steak & kidney pudding, or spotted dick, steamed pudding, never found the right suet here, would be nice to have during the winter

what you need cathy is the fat from around the kidney and ask your butcher to mince it my mate gets me all the things i need.
