They do have PE here....3 days a week. I think the high school kids have it 5 days. The younger kids also have recess. There are a lot of sports here too. Football, soccer, baseball, softball, basketball and track. Kids involved in sports train  A LOT!!! It's all very very serious! But that only accounts for a handfull of kids. The rest are playing Xbox.

So did I Cath, I used to make sure I was a milk-monitor so that the teacher wouldnt notice I were'nt drinking one, lol

As for keeping fit, it was 'footy' in the playground at every break, PT in the hall a couple of times a week (dont forget your gym-kit), Musical movement (remember, prancing around the Hall to the radio), organised football or cricket one afternoon a week and a school match against another local school if you were good enough to make the team.

Oh! lol! yes musical movement!!! We also had to do country dancing too and were spoiled with a gym equipped with all sorts of tools for torture! Slight difference in activities (of course coz I'm a girl, lol) - netball, skipping, tennis, stingers, or catch at break.  Rounders, netball or tennis in PT and as you say matches at the weekends with extra practises after school!  And of course the dreaded athletics - running, jumping, hurdles etc., or cross country running if you were into that!  (Or even if you weren't).

But we were FIT!                         (Fit for what, I wonder?  LOL)

OMG! You guys!!     OK James, reckon you are having us on!

Bet you both would have got your heads stuck in the railings watching the girls.  I really hated that we couldn't wear shorts!!
