I totally understand that Ruth! I can listen to metal then switch to big band then to classical!

I use to dislike the 70's but now...I'm starting to appreciate it more!

I so agree with you about Abba Ruth.  What is even stranger is that the grand children love it, they even have Abba songs on their cell phones! Along with a great deal of other very strange music! LOL

Ruth, I liked Abba when I was 14 but now I can't stand them. Lol.

I do find my taste in music changing. I like it. It's nice to discover that you like something that you didn't like before. For most of my life I hated country music, but now I enjoy the new pop-country that popular. Artists like Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, and Carrie Underwood.

Having said that, I still can not abide the old country stuff like my mother used to listen to. Loretta Lyn, Roy Clark etc.

one of the most underated artists was bobby darin --not everyome's favorite but he turned some good stuff out.

I wasn't a huge Abba fan until my husband, who is, bought Mama Mia the movie, and I was in love. We also went to see it on stage. Talk about happy, get you moving songs.

Other than that, I don't think my music tastes have changed.

I was probably around but I can't remember due to old age memory loss.

Tell me again where the Common Rooms were? You're not talking about the huts that used to be up at Holten Park?
