     Hi Ruth, Oll an Gwella ( that's cornish for "all the best") and the chap in the avatar is Cornish -- Try Camborne facts on POE that was my first fact I have posted. More Cornish trivia to follow I am sure.

You're right, James.  I just looked up your fact, Vince.  Very cool.  I learned a Cornish fact the other day.  The Bronte' sisters' mother was born in Cornwall.  Her name was Maria.

It could have been, Vince.  I just finished Jane Eyre and so when I looked up Charlotte Bronte` on Wikipedia, it just said Cornwall for her mother's birthplace.  If you're sure, you should add the fact to the Penzance page.  :-)
