Oh, makes weekend two that I'm not doing so well of shopping for birthday clothes for my grandaughter...today I ended leaving her mother with half of what I bought her... having to take it back. I just can't seem to get her size down to Pat. She is leaving children's sizes to going into an junior size. Stuff today didn't fit either. Well, I gave her mother the receipt and she's got an girlfriend (family friend) there staying tonight..maybe they can go shopping. I can't say that what I see so far really "thrills" me either...which might be part of my problem also. I have maybe two weeks or so more before the birthday. I wanted it "special" this year as she turns an "teenager".

I wish I could get her this old tune..."Pretty Blue eyes"...I can't remember who sings it..old 50's song...goes something like..".I set by my window..just to see you walk by..My pretty blue eyes...my pretty blue eyes....every guy in the neighborhood...they say you sure look good...my pretty blue eyes...my pretty blues eyes...my heart gives an beat...every time we meet...(then the chorus)...my pretty blue eyes...something to that..been many an year...but you sure do notice her eyes when you see her. I keep wanting to say someone like Frankie Avalon or so sang it.
