I think photography is all in the eye Marjorie - and obviously you have it!

As often as I can - which is never often enough for me!

What is your favourite thing to photograph i.e. landscapes, flowers, buildings, etc.

Landscapes or flowers.  I can take my time over them!  Family get fed up with me for taking too long! lol

Have you been taking photographs for a long time?

I was given my first Brownie box camera at around the age of 11 and have loved taking photos ever since (when I could afford the film and the developing that is!)  I use a lot of them for reference material to paint.

What is the photo you are most proud of?

When visiting England in 2009 I took a photo of a door at Beaulieu Abby in Hampshire. I was so taken back at how great it came out. I never imagined I could take such a beautiful picture. Of course a lot of the credit goes to the camera I was using. I could not begin to tell you what kind of camera it was because I borrowed it from another photographer on the site. Wink

No - but that is probably because I have never entered any competitions, lol.  Not like our Shaun (wonder where he has got to lately?)

Would you enter any of your photos in a competition?

(Now there is an idea, perhaps we should suggest that POE has a monthly photo competiton and let all the members vote?)

No, I wouldn't enter a competition.  I wouldn't think my photos were good enough as my camera is only quite basic, (although I love it).

A monthly competition sounds good in theory, but I should think it would be rather complicated to put into practice. ?

How do you like to spend your leisure time (apart from POE!) lol

Marjorie you are being much too modest, you have put some great pics on POE, like this one:

You're very kind Cathy! Thank you.  It's a pity that you can't put your photos on here .. I should love to see them and I guess they're really good!

I rarely buy magazines .. much too expensive, and I'm not really interested in the content of most of them.

Do you enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles?  I hate them!

I think I have taken some good pictures over a number of years but I now have a problem - I need glasses to see the pic in the camera but not for looking at the view so I usually set things up all wrong, lol.

I have some difficult puzzles and round puzzles and once in a blue moon I will do one.

Do you do crossword puzzles or Suduko?

I do Sudoku, but I prefer to play Scrabble on my laptop.

Do you like spending time alone?
