I happened to have my camera with me many years ago and took a photo of a building (I think it was a Wimpy!) on fire, with firemen up their ladders with their hoses. They put out the fire before the press arrived, lol. So they had my picture instead. Not exactly like having a photo chosen for a magazine though! Interesting question so here it is again! Have any of your photos been used by the press?

Nowdays they use anyone with a camera phone to provide free photos. Had some in magazines. Now I find my photos on many web sites, they just nick them off my Flickr account ! |

In answer to the last question, we took some interesting shots of lightening that the local weather used, but other than that, not professional enough to have photos published anywhere. And although I'm American, I really think words like colour or favourite look much prettier with the "u" included. Don't know why we felt the need to change it except Americans are always in a hurry to do everything and leaving out a letter takes less time. Along the lines of purchasing things, what was the last thing you bought that you thought would be really useful and turned out not to be? |

Carrying it on: If you could be an animal which would it be??? |
