Easy one for me to answer, Mick. I'd be in the 1960's, my favorite decade. I loved the British invasion music of those years, I was very into peace activism, the clothing and excitement of that era. There was, of course, a lot of sad things that were happening then, the assassination of John Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King, the Viet Nam war, but it all blended into an amazing time. Woodstock took place, the Beatles came to America. I was at exactly the right age for all of it. Plus I was very, very happy at home and in my life at that time. Loved it. 1960's and early 1970's were the best for me.

I'd like hearing other answers to this question, so what decade of the 1900's would you like to be in?

I think I would probably have enjoyed the 1920's.

As Brenda says - I'd like hearing other answers to this question, so what decade of the 1900's would you like to be in?

1960's. More peace and less anger.  A time for enjoyment after war and 50's austerity years. It was like spring time, a promise of things to come.  Beach Boys, Lou Christie, Del Shannon, well done America !  Early Japanese motorbikes. Lambretta scooter with girl friend in mini skirt on the back !

Oh, Mick, you're so with me on this one! I have my office at home decorated in a '60s motif with authentic things from the era, lava lamp included. Very colorful room. Used to wear mini skirts in those days, too, and the John Lennon glasses. Great time!

Can we have another answer to this one? What decade would you like to be in and why?
