Ahhh.  Was it Marilyn Monroe singing Happy Birthday to JFK?

If it was Marilyn then her real name was Norma Jean Mortenson and she was married to Joe DiMaggio and Arthur Miller (2 out of 3) lol

Thanks Marjorie, and good morning to you, I hope you will have a wonderful day Smile

This famous lady of old history was responsible for burning Londinium to the ground as part of an uprising against occupying forces.

Cathyml, I think I have the answer to this, but if it's correct, I know it only because I looked it up on the Internet. I was interested in your question so I read about Queen Boudicca (saw several different spellings of her name) who was a Celt who fought against the Romans, burning Londinium in the process. Is that right?

With all the information available on the internet I don't see why we shouldn't use it!!

The questions are just to spark an interest and I think it is fun to find out more.

You will be happy to know that you are quite correct (and yes there are several spellings of her name).  Seems she was quite a woman!!

So Brenda Congratulations, it's your turn to think up a questionSmile

Thanks, Cathy, but next time I'll try to figure it out on my own. British history is tough for us Americans. There's so much of it!

Here's my question. He is a well known musician who in 1970 was invited to write a concerto for his instrument to be played with the London Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Andre Previn. He was nominated for an Academy Award for best original musical score for the movie Ghandi. Who is he?

I see no one's answered my question so I'll put a clue in. He was a mentor to George Harrison and the Beatles when they traveled to India. George collaborated with him on a number of musical collections.
