I was interested in your question so I read about Queen Boudicca (saw several different spellings of her name) who was a Celt who fought against the Romans, burning Londinium in the process. Is that right? |

The questions are just to spark an interest and I think it is fun to find out more. You will be happy to know that you are quite correct (and yes there are several spellings of her name). Seems she was quite a woman!! So Brenda Congratulations, it's your turn to think up a question |

British history is tough for us Americans. There's so much of it! Here's my question. He is a well known musician who in 1970 was invited to write a concerto for his instrument to be played with the London Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Andre Previn. He was nominated for an Academy Award for best original musical score for the movie Ghandi. Who is he? |
