I truly enjoy it and I love the people I am working with. I was always grateful to be working but I wasn't very happy with my last job. Now I have finally fulfilled my dream to work at a job that I actually like and feel like an valued member of the team. :-) How are things with the two of you? |

My job's still going good and Dave missed a little work over the winter, but he's been working steadily for the last several months. We're due for a trip to the British Isles this year, but we decided it will have to wait another year or two. So we're doing stuff around the house, painting, etc. instead. Although, even though I wasn't planning on any out of town vacations this year, it looks like I'll be taking a road trip with my sister-in-law and two nieces to San Francisco in August. I can't wait!

Maybe that's my problem, Heh?... I was reading today that Giada De Laurentis, of Food Network willl be doing the menu for Catherine, Dutchess of Cambridge and her husband...Prince William.... when they dine at the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club in July.... they asked Giada what were some of the things she was planning to make for them..and she replied...A pea-pesto Crostini...and California chopped salad with grilled lettaces, grilled corn, grilled shrimp, zuchinni and crispy tortillas in an light lemon sauce and Chicken Milanese..breaded chicken in a creamy tomato-fennel sauce. Sounds good to me. |

I know this sounds weird but many times in the summer...it gets hot... I don't like to eat until late...and so I like an small propane BBQ off my bedroom patio...where I can take an " cool-off" shower in the bathroom, turn on my TV set and make kabobs on the small BBQ under the stars....and have something cool to "sip on" and that's it. I still need to paint the bathroom yet. Grilled teryaki chicken strips and grilled peaches sounds good to me right now. I have an small refrigerator out there also...and an cooler. I bought the outdoor queen sized "blowup" mattress last week...but am considering an lounge chair also..not an lot of room at times......I do like though to lay down and see the stars in the sky and listen to music at times also. Then next morning get up and go in the other direction outside and eat in the sun on the patio table out front of the house. That is provided we ever get some "sun" lasting more then one day for doing all this kind of stuff..My trees have grown like an jungle in all this rain we are having....and I should of planted "Sponges" instead of plants perhaps. I may have to go on an trip just to see if I can find "summer" this year. |

Ron in answer to your question about curing whooping cough...I had to drag out some of my herbal books this morning...In particular try Guggula, then Turmeric, Neem...they are all herbals from India primarily...and go from teh disease to the purifying of the body and it's organs and to convelescent on many related symptoms just besides Whooping cough...then go to http://herbs.com/herbs-slippery-elm.htm and read that one over also. All of the first three probably saved my life as long as it did with the closed arteries from what the doctors told me, particuarly the Tumeric. they are an broadbased imflamatory cure fro an bi tof everything. they are also easy to find and don't cost much...most all herbal shops, if they are good ones carry them...or you can find them on-liine. |
