Good morning!....as far as I know everyone is well. My sister has an cold, but the temperatures took an dive the last day or so ago from 88 degrees down to 65 degrees. Probably the real culprit. I went out to Burns Feed Store to find all their veggies 50 per cent off..so for 80 cents I picked up an "sugar baby" watermelon to grow. We did some yard work and was stiff as all get out going to bed last night. Hubby out changing car oil this morning. Let me sleep in somewhat...sunny..nice..but an bit cold for this time of the year. Talking about making watermelon pickles in another web site. I was asked about making the rinds into them...and I don't remember that as possibly using them grated up in an relish perhaps..substitute for  some of the green peppers. Would have to look it up on-line I suppose. Not to much going on today for an Saturday. When I was at the Feed Store I see they have all the young turkey's out for growing this Thanksgivng. Getting up there on the specialty breeds of $6. plus per bird..but these birds have gorgeous plummage... if your not into an axing with them for dinner. If I had the money.. I'd do an Johnny Apple Seed routine with small game, buy it up and turn it loose on it's own in the rural areas of the countryside. Use to be an time when Ben Franklin wanted "Turkeys" for our National Bird... there were so many wild ones.. not any more....all we got now are "Politicans" for the being our "Turkeys". LOL. It's quite an day over here...with this so called mother that killed her 2 year old daughter....she gets out of jail on July 17th...as they had no direct evidence despite four different stories on what happened.. that she actually did the crime. Judge gave her one year for each of the four lies she told...but she'd already been in jail for almost three years so she gets out July 17th. I hope she's never an "Mother" again...they are releasing her "secretly" because of public out-roar on the case of injustice. See that old saying "You can get away with murder" is now true perhaps. I go for today...see what I can get into doing today...later!

I am picking up the weirdest vibes this last 24 hours...don't even know how to exactly describe them either...I feel like everything has just sort of "stopped" on the internet for some reason....kind of like an "in the middle" sort of  transit going on. Must go, might have rain  showers in an couple of days and have an pond out back drained that needs atttended to.... and not an pleasant looking job.  Hope your all well and talk to you later on. William and Kate were with the people yesterday in the Polo Club... helping to sponsor it. By now most of thier trip is winding down again perhaps.

Morning to all POEster's, hope all is well, especially with you Shirley because your 'vibes' get a bit scarey from time to time!

No doubt we shall find out what it was all about in due course?

Pretty hat Cathy..very lovely avatar....it takes an special person to beable to wear hats attractively.

Marjorie....your right...that's why I have a docror telling me to slow down an bit. I needed that yesterday with the yard work and today may be an Monday, but it's being an "day of rest" kind right now for me.

William and Kate stopped by an poor area of town of budding artists yesterday... before concluding thier vacation stint in California. They are indeed "smart" people...as some of the street people can touch upon craft work and artistic endeavors with fresh new appraoches to it all. Probably back in England by breakfast time this morning no doubt.

Yes, Ron beware of my "vibes" at times...they just had an 7.0 quake in Japan as an after shock from Last March. I still feel the area is very much settling yet. When an small quake hits in western Montana or Nebraska..we have learned...over the years...expect an doozie in Alaska...when there are off shore quakes going on off Oregon...you know California is "adjusting" along the San Andres Fault also. Many years ago I told JOB I saw the "biggie" in California and how and Frank, who runs his own thread at JOB's quake..in southern Califronia pin-pointed it down for me..they say it's an possibilty. BUT...I saw it triggered by mankind...playing around with water tables in the area...so it is not something that has to happen necessarily.Water issues in the dessert SW may be the culprit to it all, but many people have been witing for an larger quake now in Southern California for an couple of years...next month is highest tides again since Japan's quaking. I think water issues are an problem over in the MIddle East around the Dead Sea also. Which has some pretty interesting and healing "mud" to it's waters. I see you can now buy it for an hefty price also per small jar..but they say the most curitive... is just go there and roll around in it...if you can...there's so much salt in the Sea they claim you float more then sink.

I am understanding the mid-west is seeing triple didget heat next couple of days and I think the Texasans went bonkers couple months ago for lack of rain. Catjo is asking for us all to do an "rain dance" for her beloved Texas. She says the ranchers are selling thier cattle way before time in order to keep them market available at all from this drought. Needless to say, maybe an small tropical storm can make it around the backside to the west of Texas..and head east...meantime I do my ususal and ask the Lord for normal weather per season to the area and all areas right now...we need the abundance we were at one time given "naturally" to the land. I must go for now. I still have plantsto fertilize. Chopping down the Pear tree was an "chore" and an half yesterday...so was moving the rocks for the pond...both needed done and then some. Maybe James Prescott can show you all the pretty pictures of his yard he took. My yard is my refuge I use to say, and when the kids were little I use to go out there late at night in the summer to just look at the stars and enjoy the cooler evenings and the quiet at times. Talk later on...
