James,

My POE family was and is always on my mind.  Only other family matters have been very stressful and taking up most of my time, and are going back to normal.   But Im here and missing everyone.

I hope you are doing well, James.Smile

Hello everyone. I hope those of you in the northern hemisphere are all enjoying a pleasant summer. Those of us down here at the bottom of Africa are having the coldest winter in more than 20 years. A third of the country was brought to a stanstill for 2 days due to thick snow. The main highway from the coast to Joburg (N3) was closed for over 2 days, but its warming up a wee bit now.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Bye for now.

Well I'm inside dealing with POE problems Syd so no summer for me. See what I mean about little time available? Tomorrow will be exactly the same and the pictures submitted will be approved, who by? Chris, Sarah or Ron!
And a huge thanks to you Ron for all your hard work too. The three of you are amazing and must have square eyes by now from gazing into computer monitors.

I'm sure th eother gals will pop in more often by the time their kids are back in school here next month iof not before...come gals....where are you?...I can't find postcards...I am thinking of sending small receipes in an envelope instead.

Snow in Africa?....your tend to think Sahara Desert in Africa...I guess because of the Pyramids being over there. Let's hope these weather patterns get more "normal" if possible.

Hi Delores...Julie...others. I'm waiting to see how hubby makes it home with his ingnition having went out on him on our truck. Slightly over an 2 hour drive....he should be in an caravan of "Scouts" leaving at the same time though...might help if he needs help.

I have my grand-daughter here with me...whom fell asleep with the computer under her arm... She's stirring... so better go for now.

Getting yummy goodies is nice these days....quilts....how marvelous! My last real stint was making artifical snowflakes for the solidiers in the Gulf War...part of "Operation Dear Abby"....I received the nicest letter from them thanking me also.  It took me days on end making them.
