Guys around here have an lovely sense of humor...I'm giggling at some of the remarks. I use to iron...and yes we both share some of the housework around here...had to when I worked full time if we ever wanted to do anything else but "work". Hubby took off to Scout Camp..tried to call, bu the's probably out of cell phone range. In the meantime went to see my brother...we are going to go see an gal that use to work with me years ago....if she's there. then go get my grand-daughter....then hubby will be back. He left having an truck problem, the starter broke to turning it on....so the mechanic where he works made him an quickie little two wire thing to "Hot wire" his truck to start it.  Couldn't get the parts nor had the time so it was makeshift to get him to camp this year.

My brother wants an "hot tub" and my sister in law needs an hip replacement...so she could stand to use it also...but neither of them are working. She had just bought her new Jeep before getting laid off. So I said...can't you find an less expensive car right now until you can get another job? I know she doesn't want to give up her transporation...but it seems like for right now if might be the better idea....or else like our Government, she'll find an exuse to get  disabilty to pay for her truck...you know..some people LIVE off it these days. Other recommendation was an jaccuzi tub in the bathroom. But if they would look around...she could probably have as nice an car without the expense of an brand new one...and the tub in her house and still have money to spare. I told him like "cherries" he could "fake it"...he looked at me...cause cherries are in season and they are selling $2.99 an pound....I told him to get some canned pears and an melon ball scooper and color them red with maraschino cherry juice...you know..."Fake it"... and we all started laughing.

My grandfather use to have old treadle type singer sewing machines literally stacked all over in his house when I was an kid...I heard the house burned down. MIne is an "Kenmore" sold by Sears...and I hadan smaller one too, I liked that my daughter in-law lent out to her sister in-law and that's the last I saw of it. So far been lucky to get bargains in clothing to where I don't have to make them. I use to enjoy sewing little girl's dresses though. I can't beleive this day is going so fast. Have an good one...keep making me smile...I could use it...winks*

Hi tedb

you can only insert photos from the POE site. locate the image you want and take note of the 7 digit number against it then go to make your post and you will see bottom right of this box a GREEN icon 2nd from left??? click on that then type the aforementioned number into the space provided and the pic will appear, nect click on insert and there is your picture all you do then is click POST.....job done

if it is a photo you have on your pc or camera then you need to upload to the POE site first by going to SUBMIT PICTURES at the top right in your personal menu box and then follow the very simple instructions

hope this is of help

Thanks Dave.

Initially, my thought was to oblige Cathy, and I believe Ruth, with more sketches.  However, I have now done it via the avater.  The current avater is Abdurus, of Greek mythology.  His parenthood is presumed suspect, but all legends have the chap being eaten by horses.

No problem young sir, it's good to be of use to someone. You can change the avatar as often as you like, just like James does. I'm sure we would be pleased to see other examples of your work
