I be disturbed - I think.  I have this headache thing, do you see.   It''s my own fault cos I shouldn't let my mind wander about.  I bin reading about Ruth's new Cabinet an' I thought if I could puul a few strings it might open a few drawers fer me, so to speak.  I a quick doer so I searched all the jobs pages in't local newspearper to fin an out of wark doctor.  I thort if I'm ter be the new Chanceller of the Hexchecker I needs a man who can write joined up riting wot you cant read  ter do my expenses accownt fer me.  Then I were thinking o' Sk, her from America wot writes sometymes.  I was athinking as how she wud be the Mystery of Propagander.  Yow know wot I mean.  She cood tellus fings, like.  With my fust expenses I am goin' to find the Templars (Simon'sd know where them at, wunt he?) and buy them some hosses.  I looked at yon Google and saw Seal with a picture of them two blokes sittin' on one nag.  That int rite, is it, cos they'm big blokes, an' all.  So thas the fust thing.  Then I done a daft think, didn't I?  I got the car out and druv to a village where Abe Lincoln's ancestors wuz born.  I were walkin through the graveyard like you do without walking on anybodys feet and I met they two Americans on holiday.  They wuz verry interested when I shewed them a Lincoln tomb.  An they wuz intered an all when I told them there was some genealogical, I think that is rite, family trees and some photos inside the chuch wot one could hev if there were contribution ter the Tower Fund.  I opened the door an shewed them were the stuff were an they picked everyting up an put it in their bag wat they wuz carrying.  They walked out an dint pay nothing so bloody church tower will fall down now.  Later I was asitting at the the table - this is the best bit so don't you go yit - I was setting their ready to get stuck inter 3 hot, buttered, toasted crumpets and a jar o tea.  An what do you think happened next?  I was jest agoin ter stir my three sugars when I dropped the spoon onter the floor.  I went down ter pick it up and fell straight out o my bed.  Apart from the hedache it is all right though cos et wore nobbut 3 in the morning an I got back in agen.

If this makes you yawn just think what it did for me.

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great day.

I had some communication from our dear Rick this morning. He is doing well except for the mudslides now. So after fires and mudslides they are going to be moving back to Colorado in 6 months. He sent his love to everyone and said to tell you his misses you all lots and continues to keep all of you in his prayers.

Hi Edward! I don't think we have met yet. I like your avatar! Smile

Thanks, Cathy, for the avatar mention.  It's one of my sketches that looks decidedly better in miniature.  You are right that we haven't met.  I am still trying to do the dog paddle at the shallow end.  It plays Hell with your knees. Don't it?

Happy days!

James, is that you in your new avatar? If so, I'd say 'why have you been hiding?'.

You are adorable!

Summer has arrived after our long winter (snow in June), and we are up into the 100's and high 90's. Lovely!

Edward, it must have taken you longer than one hour to write your message above and that is why your avatar isn't showing!  Enjoyed reading it though!

Hi Sue, lovely to see you back from your trip, will you be around for long this time or have you another journey planned soon?
