Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 21:02 on 22nd February 2012 Good day everyone...still working on the computer...it wants me to let it remeber my passwords...so when I come in all I have to do is swipe my finger across the panel instead of typing them out....but since I can't figure out how to undo some things...I wonder about doing that. Last night it took us hour or so with Verizon, my hubby and my son... to figure out that I have an button to automatically close down my wireless server..if it's not lit...I can't access the server...it somehoew got shut off.. An lot of security measures on this computer. I wish I had an manuel explaining them all, rather then buttons to hook up to the manufacturer for apparently anything I need instead. In my research work on the family I have ran into someone that feels very much like I do about today's genealogy and it's manipulations going on. He stated that he's closed down the information to his family because of people making themselves related to him when they are not. Naturally they are an quite wealthy family. I've been noticing this family for an long time as possibly connected also,,,,they have the right criteria...masonic lodge...related to Geo Washington...have an Spanish connection...descendent name as"Likins"...same area of Augusta Co., Va..would of known the Reed/Read family....has an preachers line also. Also from earlier lines of Kent Co., England...and Northcumberland Co., England..as well as early London. That would be an William Langhorne. Perhaps the father to my William Larkin..the older one. He has been in NewJersey and family are in Pennsylvania also. How refreshing it was to see William and Kate out walking their cute little puppy on the beach in the news....and I can imagine how she must feel buying an coat... and when people found out from whom they mobbed the store and clean them out to be "like her". What is it they say...Imitation is the best example of flattery.. by others. There's times it's not really wanted either at times... the price of fame. I did like the coat.... and felt it looked stunning on her. She dresses well as to her fashions so far. Been watching National Geographic "Doomsday Preppers" show.I think they have about covered it all so far...pole shifts, economic breakdown, gasoline shortages, Electro-magnetic Pulses, Government take-overs, Food shoratages, living off the land with earthquake activity, transporation hijackings, pandemics...they have an few shows left to go in the series. I have seen an lot of products on this show I didn't know existed...agreed with some of the stuff and not in others...or would of changed slightly. They prove also that it takes big bucks (money) to plan out big evacuations also. I'm learning and I thank NatGeo for doing this series..everyone is talking about it over here. Anyone whom is of biblical knowledge "stores" food in advance...the bible says to....at least for over winter...one season....growing season to growing season as did our ancestors. If you have food good for two years...there is always agency can see to it that the surplus goes to the needy..if you have plenty by the next season's harvest. It makes one an better neighbor in ways. I guess I go for now...tonight is my babysitting night out at my kid's house..to get the kids to the bus in the morning and on it. Last week they made us dinner....hubby follows me out and then leaves after conversing for an bit with everyone...helps me get my bedding into the house...yes, I like to do that this way for me...I sleep better with my own pillows and I use an lot of pillows...as I listen to my nightly talk radio show also. I have my bottled distilled water...my soft long nightgown and an book to read usually also. I make myself comfortable to say the least. Since they have an big meadow in front of their house...I can stand in front of their picture window in their livingroom and watch the three "resident" deer in the area...graze in the meadow....it gives me such an peaceful feeling. They generally come about the same time in the early evening...just as the moon comes up in the sky. I would say three generations of does. Little one was sure cute last year standing by it's "mom" nursing her.I go for now...Have an good day everyone. |

We are getting a lot of evening thunderstorms Ron - other years they tended to be early in the evening between 4 and 5, now they are mainly later and just when you think it is all clear it comes back at you from another direction, just like it is circling around. Unfortunately the latest two proceedures have not improved Mick's situation at all - in fact it has worsened. I am just hoping these additional problems will improve in time! |

Glad to say the tranfusion did the trick and my better half is back at work and full of beans - for the next 4 to 6 weeks. She will have to get another transfusion shortly before we leave for England so she can enjoy her holiday and not have pay a lot of money for treatment there. Sorry to hear your husband is still battling Cathy, not nice. Please send us some of your thunder storms, Pretoria usually has an excess but this year we've had only 1 or 2 piddling little ones. Normally, as you will know, we have a few good ones at this timem of year - even some hail. This year is being pathetic although the clouds are building up now so maybe.............. On the other hand the storm will most likely do its, by now, usual trick and slide off towards the coast leaving us high and dry. Pardon the pun. |

Syd I would happily send you some of our thunder storms - it is getting to be a pain to have to switch all the electronics off every evening, so they don't end up fried by the lighting! Very glad to hear the transfusion has made such an improvement in your wife's health. That is great news. Hi everyone! I'm taking advantage of the fact that right now it is not thundering around us, so I can just touch base for a while. Hope all are well and having a great day

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 03:17 on 24th February 2012 Yes, the power of POE at work!...just know it. I tried to stay up last night an listen to Lori Toye and her work on the future "golden cities"here in the USA...there will be 51 world wide someday. She was discussing the "Master teachers" to each of them, and they are to be the out come of the "earth changes" in the future...though she thinks now that they may not be as drastic as Micheal Gordon Scallions "future map"...of the USA...there's not to much left of it, no west coast hardly. This was big stuff in the 70's and she has written three books since then, some parts of it channeled and others her own physic imprestions. You can read more about the books on the cocasttocoastam.com "home" web site in past shows if your interested. Always makes for conversational discussion of the rare kind. He also had an tarrot card reader on...I did that one time on an friend and pulled up the "death" card...which I took to mean that was the end of our friendship...and it has been in being able to see each other since then...it just happened on its own. James...you had me do the Rogers family once.....I think I found the James Larkins in William Rogers Rev. War report....if indeed he is the one that married Mary Adoo/McAdow...while his brother John Married her sister Sarah. The Larkins farm in Dickson Co., Vajust recently became an "Century farm"...meaning it's been in the family for 100 yeas. I can not find an land patent for William E. Larkins for Putnum Co., Illinois....though I have an John Larkins and Mary A. Larkins taking one out near Henry, Illinois May 6 1812..it was an scriptwarrant....I'll have to find out more about that also. Tired from babysitting yesterday... so gonna keep it short for now..enjoy your day everyone! |
