POE has good rules and a good watchdog (thanks Ron and forgive the analogy with a dog but I love dogs) so that it remains nice. |

Blood transfusions are not the nicest of things but 'er indoors is now getting used to it as it is the difference between life and death. A pity we have to pay for medical insurance to get this treatment but then, it isn't about money is it? We get a good return on the investment as we pay about 200 pounds a month but get treatment worth about 5 times that much. I wonder how she'd fare if we lived in UK and were using NHS? Thanks for your kind thought Dave. It is a pity we won't have time to get together with all you good folks when we visit England again in June. |

I often thought that also, if your blood had to much fat in it..why not an blood tranfusion to clean it out BEFORE they clog up....and now a days they can tell by an simple MRI...which they are now making into instruments that people don't have to go all the way through... in hand held machines over the patient...and probably not as expenisve to use...I heard that George Norry on "coast" goes in periodically if he's not feeling chipper to have his arteries looked at for their " flow of blood". I take it he doesn't use medicines other wise to keep down his cholestrol...he uses "diet" alone. Organ tissue transplants...if gives people an better way to medical services...then in the past also and some cases stops the medical probelm all together. My pills are expensive...they are $100 an month out of pocket for 3 months prescription...on one prescription pill...pharmacuticals got recently sued in court for " price gouging" in not having developed an lower cost generic drug substitute. Doctor the other night said that all the treaments in the world for Cancer doesn't cure it...it simply is what it is and "treatment". If your smart, you get rid of surgically at the beginning, your usually cured...depending on what type you of cancer your had. The kid's dog has had no problem since they removed her tumor some years back. I had read that "Cancer" is caused from "unhappiness" and in this case, I think it was in ways. My 3,000 year old chinese medical books says its the aftermath of suppression on one's soul by others or lifestyle...perhaps the person literally tries to grow out of it's own body to escape?...hum. God morning everyone!...OK...good morning everyone...only mispell I don't mind giving out I guess. Hope things are going well for you. I finally got caught up in my sleep from the other night...so feel better. Cathryml..don't you use an surge protector on your electrical equiptment or are the thunderstorms that severe. We use them on everything in this house... being all electric. Even when we have solar flares I am not above in one button...shutting things down if I feel an "energy" change going on in the house. It was one of the things our computer friends told us not to go without. I would like someday though to get the "house paint" out of Germany that also stops frequencies in the air from enviormental pollution also. They say that people sleep so much better if they have it in their houses also. It's also an security factor to others trying to access your dataor conversations by remote devices...outside of the house...I guess coporations use this all the time....whom would ever think there would be an day when being "private" is just that. Perhaps it will help us that are psychic from getting out brains picked over nightly by others. For our Native Ameircans that must be an true "God send" in ways...besides...they have remote viewers these days. They are bad enough in ways. While this talent can be an good one, it can also be used badly also...particularly in killing others...by subversive groups. I go for now. |

What my wife has is not cancer but something very rare called Myelofibrosis for which the treatment is still very much hit and miss. Cathy, Shirley's got a good point. If you run your PC through a UPS you won't risk getting it damaged by lightning or electrical surge but your risk, I would think, is that you most likely have an ADSL internet line. We now have wireless broadband so the risk from storms is almost non-existant. Hope some of your storms make it down this way. We need rain! The lawns are dying andn today was 35 deg C. Quite awfull. Sleeping is going to be difficult tonight due to the house having heated up today. With electricity now being so expensive using the air conditioner is no longer an option. Cheers all |

None of the cell phone masts can accommodate us out here. We did have a radio/satellite link but it cost us double what the ADSL line costs. Sorry to hear everything is so dry already down by you. You are right about the electricity and it does create a problem! We don't have any air conditioning - just ceiling fans! We have had our first storm this evening, a lot of flashing and banging but not much rain!! So hopefully that is done for tonight! Hi everyone - hope you are having a great weekend! |
