Thanks James. We'll chat again when I return to Africa. What a thought, I'd rather be staying in England I think.

Have an good trip Syd..hope you can keep in touch with us and let us know what yoru up to while in England..look forward to everyone's latest photo's coming up soon. Reember I told you we didn't go to the Fireworks downtown Portland Friday night...Oh wow!...someone took and film clip of what was coming out of Vancouver Washignton north of us that night...wish you could see it, one lightenign strike after another...enough to get your hair fried perhaps...one bolt did hit an house...and up at Mt. Tabor...they have an wide dowhill stairway...we had 1.02 inches of rain in one hour...it looked like an  small mountain stream coming down this stairway...fountain style.

Got my kitchen painted, but could use an second coat on the celing, the wall going into the kitchen, and down the stairway...I'm in heaven...you have no idea how long this has needed to be done!

Grandkids stayed last night...sissy chose an white and turquiose print, soft pastel colors of turquiose swipes on white. in an simple a-line dress with an puff top and spaghetti straps for her dance, and an plain black A- line dress with an small rhinestone band  at the waist and scoop neck for granduation, silk skirt and chifon top...the colors of the High School are red and black. She's happy.

So it was an long weekend...but we did get some things accomplished for it all. Maybe I can take my camera out this summer also...take some pictures. Finished off the weekend by planting some more garden items and flowers out back.  Any sunshine and all the nieghbors are out there in the yards upgrading them. New neighbors took out the rock feature and took out his flowers, pick up the grassin rolled turf and leveled his front yard...got to meet them and his wife this morning and 4 moth ofl baby girl. Neighbor across the street was out working, her doggie that probably knows me best had to come over and get her "pets"...and neighbors up the street made an great big brick kind of entryway into their front of the house...or are working on it. Good to see going on these days. Everyone is mowing.

An Senator (politican) here just asked the airlines to cut thier prices...and stop finding ways to dime and quarter their passengers to death.,,,siting bad business practice. I go for now..".new" week starts tomarrow....make it an good one!
