One point for your info is that approved pics do not have the confirmation e-mail coming through and the comments notification e-mail does not come through either. Was not sure if you were aware so just reporting in. Hope all gremlins are very soon evicted. |

Earthquake Mary and I both came in today...5.8 Indonesia Quake and three small ones in the Greater Los Angelas area. We are also talking about earthquake prepardnessas we hear reports that Italy ran out of emergency tents for it's people. Better to have one bought and be prepared before it happens and know you have it. Ron, what they told me one time was that any site that uses pictures in it it's easier to swipe the web site when the pictures are submitted for some reason...they also told me that my spelling errors were another sign someone might be on my computer...to do an full scan and see what it cleans out. But the bottom line is that they need that "Space" from posting to the web site in various ways to "grab on to it" to get the person's information transferred to their computer. Hope it all gets straightened out...for me,,,this is very tiresome to put up with.I don't do on-line business transactions and I havent' had an email for two years now. |

Thanks James. It was a marathon trip for various reasons but suffice it to say it took me 26 hours door to door. Good to be here though and the pictures are coming fast and furious. I have been lent a Canon EOS camera and so far have taken about 180 pictures! Have a good day all and I hope C & S manage to fix the prblem with uploading of pictures so I can share my better ones with you all. |

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 19:14 on 1st June 2012 I sure noticed an difference coming in this morning...everything is jolly right quick posting so far...I had an few find lines in the posting into another web site though, but it posted. I wasn't having the trying to have to post three times to get into this forum. My gosh Syd...180 pictures...that's an new picture for at least everyday for 6 months. You may have to give up your avatar for an picture a day type thing. so how's things going otherwise besidest taking pictures? I have an truck out front of my nieghobrs yard expanding the whole front if it in the street delivering turf to my new neighbors...and when I went out to my kid's house, they had an single wide tralier lived across from them that was an older model..the lady lived there moved over on the other side and they tore this trailer down and are getting ready to put in another new trailer. Fast changes. But both changes should look good. I need to join them and finish off my garden with potatoes, acorn squash, two tomato plants and two small min-pumpkin plants and Swiss Chard. I have some pineapple mint leaves drying and some chives also right now drying. I also need to get my walk in for today. So I better get to it..have an good day everyone. |
Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 19:24 on 1st June 2012 Good morning James!.....you have been posting and we haven't been saying to much...just thought I'd say hello this morning. I wonder if my new neighbors are adding an golf putting green?..smiles* I'm excitied.... three neighbors now are working on thier yards, besides myself...for years we have been the only ones around changing things as the seasons come and go. It makes walking the block so much more interesting... to see changes in flowers, decorations and seasonal changes. As if the people that live in these houses are "alive and well". It would be nice to get our pond up and going again. We need the recirculating water pump for the cascading part of it all and into the pond... but we have everything else. Have an good day!..not much left of school now for the kids. |
