And I thought it was funny when I heard my freind's husband in the background calling her "Boom boom baby" ever so sweetly...she was an bit embarassed over that one.

Good to see you Krissy...been wondering what your up to these days.

I went to the store today to buy myself an new toaster and an ink pen exploded inside my purse...the nice lady at the checkout stand was good enough to give me some swipes to wipe the ink off my checkbook, my keys...you name it...my hands. Ink all over everywhere.  But then I had to rush home to an bird I picked up hobbling in danger of my cats catching it..injured...I put it out back inside an bird cage and it's still there. Looks like it's young one. Imanage to slip in the bird nest my hubby found chopping down the apple tree last week, some bird seed and water. Cage it covered with plastic and an piece of wood, so that should suffice for an while. Ihave three canaries might enjoy it's company if it can heal up some. You don' think this is the "spirit" of my Ruby bird do you?..returning.

I worked yesterday on the pantry and gave my sister another wagon full of groceries...she thanked me, said with what she got she thinks she can afford her car insurance another year. This time she got sugar-free Jello, various puddings, half case carrots and peas, fat free mayonnaise, all kinds of Gravy and other packets of flavorings(Taco Bell), some instant mashed potatoes,  some boxes of flavored  breadstuffings, cake mixes, and cornbread and other bread mixes (Cranberry and Orange/Blueberry/Bannana)..odds and ends of other things canned ham and beans to make, pasta salad mix...pumpkin and cookie mixes(gingerbread/oatmeal and peanut butter)  The Food bank July 4th extended thier Food collection and the concert  second weekend to help the folks locally. Plus they are also doing right now an toy drive..."Christmas in July" for this winter. I still have to resupply my pantry here, but I am now working on things dated good to 2014 instead. Stuff this time around wasn't quite as expenisve to begin with. The state is more to help families then single girls you know. They figure I guess they can always find someone to eat with easier... then an family can. Mary and her have taken up to sharing dinners back and forth...now and then.  Mary made the spaghetti for them both the other night I guess. It's good to see her with an few lady friends also...rather at church, in her ladies group, or where she lives...it takes her mind off her problems....most ot which she at herage has to accept things may not be changing all that easily these days.

Nice sunshine peeking through for the day and came out late so will not be so hot either. I better get going for now..have an good day!

Hello to anyone one I missed recently also. Nice to see more posters coming back in again.
