30 bs is very impressive, Krissy. Did you follow a certain plan?

Congrats on the new position too. Isn't it grand when you love your job.

Syd...now don't let the weather get you down any...they can walk doggies inside as well as outside. So far my little bird is still alive, just got it's fist bath, wants to go all over the place but can't physically, I think maybe broken left wing. My grandson helped to babysit it today for me so I could go down for an afternoon nap. I am up considerably feeding it by hand and seeing to it that it gets water. My grandson went out and got it worm today...slurped in down in an ravished state for an little one..doing pretty good on the water soaked peanut butter and jelly sandwhich also. It also gets Lory powder...which is what I fed my tropical bird when it was alive. glad it's getting toward nighttime and it can be sent to bed unitl morning. I'm propping it up with towels to take its weigth off it's left side. I was whistling to it tonight..that sure brought an look of admiration from it.

Ron, yes, these drug yoyo's got enough signatures to allow the legalization of marijuana in Oregon if it passes...then watch the little kids get prostituted out for drugs fee's..I think we should bomb our own southern borders, but not enough to set off an large  earthquake in the process. Mexican authorites have made it pretty plain they can't win thier war against them...if they really want to that is. I have my doubts that they do. Where money can be made "souls" are also put up for sale..espeically the innocent ones.

James...genealogy...seems there's an problem...with one Elizabeth Lawson/Larkin and possibly named Davis. By trade I think she is an possible beguine...but perhaps an ancestor carrying on the legacyof Pocahantas's family..her younger sister. This one may be going asan school teacher in Virginia...but I thinnk in real she is being protected by George Lawson and William Larkin or Martin or Lucus. I hear she has an long list of "kids" in the  "list of Bastards"...but as anrepresentive of the "chief" the entire tribe's little kids would of been under her care. So if the Government was giving any financial  help you can bet she had plenty of "bastards" on thier list. I traced them to an area where the Native Americans werre sent to be "Christainized"...from there they went into August Co., Va.  Theret hey have besides "Elizabeth Lawson"...one with an younger daughter named Sarah. Some people are trying to make them into my  Elizabeth Davis and Sarah Ann Davis...and I traced that back to an John Davis in the LDS church records, by tthe birthdate givein on Sarah Ann Davis tombstone sent to me from back east...so this Elizabeth is NOT my mothers Davis side...and she is not the Thomas Davis family is saying either.  I beleive they made that one up. This Elizabeth Lawson or Davis...is the same that married the Methodist Rev. Peter Shaw in this same area of Augusta Co., Virginia...my one other concern is that she was original an "Rogers" perhaps. So my work is not done as of yet.  If there was one that came overfrom England/Scotland..I need yet to find her also. But I think she's being protected by George Lawson because she's an school teacher.Since his friend William Martain/Larkin outlived him, may be he tookover for George.  My main thought about all of this is that it was an"divin"e mission" of God to my ancestors here in Oregon to take the eastern seaboard Native American legacy to what many claimedwas the "heaven on earth" for them....Oregon. Maybe to start over again? The Graves family that became part of the "Donner Party"....arekind to John Lawson...and Pocahontas is buried at Gravesend, England. They said in Virginia that she was very protected by everyone in Augusta co., because she was an Indian Princess...Nikki...daughter of Powatan. So goes. That must of been why Rev. John Brown of Harper's Ferry turned his work to the slavery issue. he knew she was already protected by our family and the Lawson's...though JOhn Lawson hasn't to much to say nice about her...why doesnt' he just tell the truth...she's an Indian Princess ...protecting her tribe of  children ancestory.

Good morning everyone!

Hi Sue...to answer your question, I focused on my diet and started eating clean. It's amazing how much what you eat matters! Finding a eating plan that fits me wasn't easy! I had to tweek it many times! I found I have an intolerance to grains so I switched to a paleo (or caveman) eating plan....mostly meat and veg...very little grains. Execercise is big too, started running and strenghth training. Both are needed for weight loss. I've learned so much in the last year!

I am well Ron thanks. I don't think we're nicking your rain, I think its a new UK export drive to help the dryer area of the world.

If it rains tomorrow as they predicted I shall be bleak because, as Shirley says you can walk doggies indoors that won't happen tomorrow because there is nowhere at the college to accomodate over 400 dogs and their walkers indoors.

It will ruin the day and the animal welfare organisations won't get the money they so desperately need. Let's hope the rain only comes later in the day.

Have a good weekend all

WOW ...Syd...400 dogs...that's an lot of " fun raising" going on.  Hope your rain holds off for you then. If not..maybe later on. this morning finds me still woking with this little injured bird I guess you know...I took it ouside for an bit. My birds seem to pick up it's spirit also as they twit and twitter and sing up an stom in thier cage...which is where this little bird will go once I know it can defend itself. It's an huge cage...no problem...I have another one out back also.

James.. Nathan Lawson besides trying to speak for John Lawson can never get things correct in my estimation from reading what they write...same for Rosalie...but say, when they suffer enough from their own legacy.. they get handed back..maybe they will understand. He still can't tell us just who he is married to as of yet..or his family. We know it's somewhere in the Rob, Raby, Ruby,Rapier and Robards line though...there are an lot of variants to them though. Some are English, some are Scotch, and some are English...some are most likely Native American also. Really don't matter, one line says he was heir for the entire family...but I doubt much that means he wants to help any of them in his family...as goes with to many people.

Congradulations Krissy on the weight loss...my health insurance company sends me some coupons for groceries that deal with health issues..they rencently sent an coupon for some stuff out now I see advertised on Tv to curb your eating to much..and Weight Watchers couple of days ago sent out an one dollar registration if you join them, but it's somewhere I think about $10 an week after that. My cardiologist's last statement was to turn off the tv set and watch no diet commericals, no drug comercials and no food programs....he seems to think they confuse people's health...by "suggestion" over the tv tube. I sure did enjoy some of the receipes that Diana Sinclair shared with us though that we low-carbohydrate.

Yeah, I talk up an storm these days as I don't go anywhere much. They shut down web sites, and what not else. I am supposedly on Facebook thanks to my grand-daughter..but I can't find out where the information is to login in there...to say you put it on an note around this place.... it could be about anywhere by now. I'm still looking for the booklet I was writing on also. Opps, hubby just pulled up, he was to get hiking boots for my grandson...next week is Scoutcamp for the both of them.I better go for now...talk later.
