Do we have an "logo" for Poe is the question?.....I think we still have some old Elks Lodge glasses around here...an stag deer with the intials B. P. O. E around the center stag. Purple emblem on clear glass. Looks nice. Yeah...that would do for Christmas Ron, t's less then six months away now. Our glasses are short stout ones, drinking hard liquor type glasses....don't break easily. Maybe some Plum pudding could be put in them... and touch of the rum with an bit of an flame?

It just now started "raining" here. I think you have all caught up with me maybe. Oh,,is DebbieA...graduating to an DebbieB, or an DebbieC...and so forth..just thought I'd ask..smiles*... Wait until she gets to DebbieZ...then does she become an "Roman"...as in numeral? I just read the cutest joke but am afraid to put it on the web site.

OK... since you all insisted....Homemade Bisquick Mix...3 cups of flour, 1/2 cup of shortening, 1 TBSP baking powder, 4 tsp. of granulated sugar, 1 tsp salt...Mix everything together and use it in any receipe that requires Bisquick ready mix.  Well, if it's going to rain on everyone, we might as well make us up some biscuits and slather on some kind of good yummy on them while they are warm. Don't we still have another month of summer and then fall before this kind of cooking comes up again?

Good evening everyone

Back to the grey dampness that is Summer 2012 then?

Oh well yesterday was nice and I slept like a log last night, it must have been the fresh air, exercise, baking, Pimms, hot bath, clean sheets or a combo of everything!

Hope everyone had a good day - I didn't work today, so I went for a facial and body massage...lucky me.Cool

I was looking at your "Jet Stream" over there last night on TV as they talked about the OLympics coming up...it was swinging to the south, so your weather should not be to bad.  Boy Scouts are all out here soon at Scout Camp also...of course that depends an lot on which camp you go to.

Having an heck of an time posting this morning...my cursor doesn't want to act normal. I got an "expected" very bad lab report back I guess you know...and I did expect it to be about what I thought would comply to current need for doctor's care also. I have to discuss this with my health insurance "coach" as yet...because they are following my health issues like an hawk these days...looking for people that "want" me unhealthy...to sell and use more drugs. No one seems to think our nation can be "healthy" these days you understand...and bad way to think. so I started journaling again. My blood pressure readings are 30 point differnt from his...the urgent care center has an 20 point difference lower..and my scales say I weight 10 pounds less then what he has in his office. I caught the lisporil in time to stop and deadly interaction with another drug. Thank God for my medical books...one I go by has all it's information documented as to what it says about everything. Ears are droning this morning also.  Other then that thinking ....about getting me some new shoes so I can walk better.

"Gray" is an very "hot" color these days with an kind of salmon (orange/pink)... and lime green...with touches of white.  Today's gray paint is infused with less depressing colors to it, so it's light and bright also. If you want raindrops with it...you'll have to make an few of them on the wall over your gray paint...or buy them as small mirrors maybe. Just ask HGTV...anything goes these days. Mylivingroom firelace is gray rock...but at night when the spotlight ison over it...it sparkles with small tiny flakes of Gold...probably fool's gold, but you never know...it's definately not an "vein of Gold" though. It gives it an very mountain rustic look to it with the brown woodwork. I changed my kitchen flooring to an light gray soft mottled flooring...still have the rest to do... but ran out of money. 34 years...it need an new kitchen counter surface. I watched them yesterday take different bands of gray cement and made thier own...then polished it after it had set...interesting. Med gray with an lighter band in the center and med gray again...free flowing.

Glad you are keeping a check of your health SK, it's the best way to keep on top of things.

It's blowing a hoolie out there tonight...i'm so pleased the triffid branches have been cut down from the bedroom window now or their constant tapping on the glass would have kept me awake!

Yes, but it takes most my day just journaling it all. Meds and the whole bit. Blood pressure also... excerise...diet..liquids...and how I felt for the day...happy, depressed, burping, took two pills instead of one...you know.

Blowing an "hoolie"...hum.. new one for me...I knew it could rain cats and dogs though. There's the "hold onto your hats" weather also.
