Oh, I would love some roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. I'm useless at  roasting beef, and have to wait to visit my freind, Caroline, in England to get a decent dinner.

Good evening...well James, took your advice and did something for us and for my sister...in turning this food pantry of mine around for taking on 2014 canned items. Think we will all be around then..hope so..thought I'd get some corn products and some flour here pretty soon also. They said we have an drought back in the mid-west that is going to make food prices rise...would of been something else if not this...but anyway. Kind of cutting it down from years before though and it's still expensive. I am limited to the amount of canning jars I have...last year it went into chili...this year contemplating what I ought to put in them  Thinking zucchini might be nice.

Nice to see everyone here tonight...busy day. I made some roast beef in an Lean Cusine frozen dinner (something new out) tonight for hubby...it was some kind of roasted ranchero beef with whipped sweet potatoes and then an big large fresh greens/tomato salad. Had an sauce with the beef....wich by golly... could actually see there was some. I had my Salmon in Basil with orzo pasta and cantaloupe chunks and an piece of whole wheat bread...Earl Grey Tea. yep,  back on the diet.... and serious about it this time. Nothing like an bad lab report to get you headed in the right direction I guess.Though I don't understand why it reads what it does....but anyway...so goes. Tired tonight so think I'll turn in early...hauling canned foods from here... to there.... had me breaking out in an sweat earlier today. Canned foods are really on sale now.

They show England every morning over tv in preparation of the Olympics...sure hope your weather clears an bit. I'm getting the feeling that people are depressed over there. We have acres upon acres of ground with parched lines for lack of rain in the midwest, dead crops...what you say we take an little of your rain?...heh?  I don't think they want the mid-west looking like Arizona or the southwestern area of the USA...not "normal"....well, going to call it an night...so have an good day and all tomarrow.. talk to you then.

Hope this joke isn't to nasty for you all...but here goes!  I thought it was kind of cute...made me laugh.

An older gentleman and his wife came into the pub recently to have an cold beer...remeninscing an bit about the old times...he says, remeber when we use to go outside behind and lean on the fence an have "sex"...she nodded...he says...what you say we try it one more time?...she nodded. An policeman near by overheard the conversation.  As they went to leave for the back of the tavern, he decided to follow and see what happens. The little old couple gets to the fence and he pulls down his trousers and she lifts her skirt..as he goes in for her...the policeman kind of chuckles to himself..about then, all of an sudden they are having "frantic" sex and the policeman is truly amazed....after 10 mins of this... both of them fall down on the ground...he decides to go over there...as he was taken quite by surprise...and he says...what do you to owe to such an fantasic sex life after all these years? The little old man says...Well, last time we did this.. the fence wasn't "electric".

MSN news...July 18th....So far $38 million in silver has been recovered from a ship that sank in 1941, all of which will be returned to the British government. It's estimated that the latest haul is only 20 per cent of the total silver on board.

Now that's news worthy of making your day go better in England!

Grouse club...time to celebrate!

Good morning everyone...for some reason I'm up at 4:30 am this morning, but not for long..going back into bed until it's an more decent hour!..... Besure and keep the coffee warm!

Sue you can't wait that long for roast beef, I thought you would have had plentyof practice before you left England, and you seem to make other lovely mouth watering dishes.  If someone put roast meat of any sort in front of me i would leave the table,  Fish, Eggs, Cheese, fruit and veg, yes please

Eee bah goom James, you ain't 'alf made me 'ungry with all yer talk of a roast beef dinner. I shall have to be content with a spinach and pasta bake that I bought from Spar today. Its nice but not as nice as a good roast dinner.

Hope all are well and that the weather wherever you are is being kind.
