Something you'd expect to hear from some one of that profession. Gorgeous day outside today...hubby packing up for next week, I'm dealing with an weak ankle and will be on my own..don't need it right now though. Pick up sister later on after hubby leaves. Sometimes we get along...sometimes not...as we are very different people. I am reading kind of like an "sy-fyi" conversation going on about when the Olympics start... we may get it from the "aleins" ,,,that they want "London" to become the "new Jersualem. This is when they plan on taking over planet earth. Far out stuff...hope your prepared for some of these wacko's. Said they would most likely be shutting down all communications when they do...(possible EMP attack?..hope not) At any rate, lets hope it's just something to generate excitement. My son says he should be back here by late this evening sometime. It's been since last weekend since we saw him also. May take up reading an book this week. Would like to go somewhere an can't...at least until all the packing up is done. Talk to you all later on. |

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 17:29 on 22nd July 2012 Good morning everyone!...well, hubby's out and gone now, have my youngest grandson with me right now...you know the weather is these days not "normal" anywhere you go and so was looking earlier in earthboppin.net, in the skywatchers board... an dust storm smacked into Pheonix, Arizonia last night. Awesome pictures. I can now concentrate on my diet for this week. Well, there goes Ken....with all his ATV's off to somewhere....oops';.. backing up. Maybe he forgot something. President Obama comes into town three days from now..short run through the area though...leaves after an speech. Well, better get going for now...interesting day ahead no doubt. Sometimes when hubby is gone it's slow all week long and an "rest" for me..other times I get an tremedous amount of work done while he's not here. I'm thinking of painting the back bathroom at the moment. So talk to you all later on. |

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 23:06 on 22nd July 2012 I take it your not growing an garden this year heh.... Ron?... this is summer you know...only have about one month left of it. Things are but starting to bloom here. I need to at least recover from the price of buying the plants...but I'd like enough to actually "eat" also. Can't seem to move my cusor around on my computer after my grandson used it this morning for an kiddie game...any suggestions? Rick...your size puts you into the catagory on my mother's side living in the mid-west...most my uncles are around that size...and my aunts were not small ladies...they were in the 5'7 to 5'9 size. I guess I get to be small for being born an pre-mature baby...my mother told me that I was born without finger nails nor eyebrows. I still detest fingernails....They feel like an complete nuscance to me...so I go into for those "fake" nails if I need them. I knew an tall gal once time that grew her nails real long...it was about the only thing she did...cause she'd break them doing much of anything else. They would almost bend down off her finger they were so long. Computer working an bit better right now...wonder what happened. I'm seeing here lately that England is gearing up for the Olympics next week...on TV.... Hope they go well. |
