I'm back, seeing thunderstorms building up over the cascade Mt.s tonight and of course pretty close to where scoutcamp is going on. Yes, they caan get wild at times up there.

I took my sister back to her house...trying to get her to diet along with me ended up with her bringing her own popcorn, theater style...full of butter,,and munching on that both nights...I can't have teh stuff with my heart problems. She had it "her style" anyway...which means that like my mother...full catering.. Part of why my mother died at age 48. A diabetic, she and my brother went out and got her an bannanasplit at the Dairy Queen...him and traffic ticket also. She later told me she thought it more of an mercy killing if it came to that. Then of course she needed her arteries cleaned out...from the autopsy..and the hospital spent 4 weeks making her die and reiving her because they felt she needed an heart pace-maker  Till she was so weak and bruised across her chest that she died an couldn't  be revived any longer....her torture was over with finally. Was just talking to one of my girls on the phone...as she says with "help" like that who needs enemies. But I must say...things always work out for them...just the way they want it to. Us good guys..seldom, but them..always.

It was nice to rest myself an bit..but forget this week on the diet..I've long time ago figured out there are no "miracles" for me in this area. I really wasn' t all that bad...but not down the line good either.

My daughter in-law left here all upset also...we kind of got an last minute call from my son...will you babysit the kids and the dogs tonight so she can drive to where I am at and stay overnight here. It's like an 4hour drive one way...thunderheads out there....she had "finals" today and she left in an huff...she didn't want to go and I didn't want to babysit everyone. Times like this it's easier if I go out there then all of them come in here....and I wanted to rest from all the catering and work I'd been doing. So I don' t know how things are going now. I'll have to call and see if she will oblige in answering the phone. Sometimes she does...other times she don't. Sometimes I do that also. Sorry about my cat interference in the last post..he likes to play with the cursor as it moves also.He knows what to do, you pick out an key and lay yout hand on it until someone says to get his paw off it. tomarrow starts the Olpymics...evreryone in "London" ready?Probably watch opening ceremonies on the TV. Portland is having the "big bite"....restruants and beweries doing their thing down by the water front. area...free music.

Hi Richard,  I think the Olympics is going to take over the news over and over again, abit OTT, but I do like playing scrabble on the PC.
