Yeah, I'm bored stiff right now myself..hubby goes with the Scouts tonight and another small troop is joining them to go bowling, Then he comes back and spends all day tomarrow at the candy sale. I'm soothing my lonliness on an McDoanlds hot fudge sundae. If grouse don't get you..the calories will I guess. I lay on the sofa you know watching the clouds go by...last couple of days has been interesting...from south to north, from west to east, and now from north to south. It's am merry -go-round going on. Hail, rainbows, sunshine, pouring down rain...and back and forth and so forth. No wonder those people had an tornado yesterday. I piddly paddles aroudn the house today...restocked the soup pantry again, and spread out some more fertizler on the fruit trees...maybe give them some heat to keep from getting to cold?...root wise. Went to the thrift shops..see what they had...picked me up some books to looks over...Frecnh Cookbook, one on salads, weight watchers, one on chocolate everything, couple small ones using bisquick mix. think I'll take an bath and get ready for "Ancient Aleins" and "untold America" later tonight. Going over in my mind how I'm going to paint these chairs I have been holding in the garage for some time to give to an neice. Craft project I promised her earlier last year. Along iwth some genealogy work. But other then that...I should of bought me one of the kiddie puzzles of bunny rabbits or chicks for Easter like I di dmy grandkids last night to tinker with...not to many peices to pu tthem together. wat kind of poetry are you working with right now? I give you guys another joke to deal with and then wash my clothes and take an bath and sttle down for an bit to watch Tv... Joke....... Joe and Bill are working at teh sawmill, when Bill saws his arm off. Joe takes the arm, puts it an plastic bag and rushes Bill to the hospital. The next day Joe visits the hospital to find Bill in rehab playing tennis. "Wow, th ewonders of modern science," Joe says. They get back to work and are sawing away when clumbsy Bill cuts his leg off. Joe takes the leg, puts in an plastic bag, and off they go to the hospital. The next day, Joe visits and finds Bill playing football. "Wow, the wonder os modern science,: says Joe. Back at work, Bill leans too far forward and cuts his head off. Joe takes the head, puts it in an plastic bag, and rushes to the hospital. The next day, when he visits, he finds no sing of his chum. "where's Bill?" he asks an orderly "we might of saved him", reports the orderly. "but some idiot put Bill's head in an plastic bag...and he suffocated." |

However yesterday I had no access at all and again today it is very, very slow! Hopefully it will improve (be fixed?) during the day, if so then I will be aroundd again this evening. Have a terrific weekend! |

Managed another few inches of snow in the night, up to about 10 inches now, and it's still coming down, just about to take a walk into the village - car not going anywhere, well we can't even see it Now where's those wellies ? |

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 18:03 on 23rd March 2013 I posted another joke also..but don't see it listed. Yes, wasn't the spelling just simply terrible though Ron. Kind ruins it in ways...at least for me anyway...though I seem to have no control over this "Dobbins" problem of mine for some reason. They are as interesing an group as is this Douglas/Richardson family history of the Planeganets...I always think its interesting when people can only be related to such and such..not otherwise for others. Still haven't learned their "Holy Lesson" in life that we are all one under God. But so as to say.. discrimination against others doesn't make me favor some people. I see the day when "God" will say to them, I know you not...because we all come from the same spiritual source. He will let them have thier way...to remain amoung themselves...and it will not include his realm of heaven...one in spirit with God. But I do suppose that is why mankind is lower then is "God". Guys took off for the candy sale today. Colby stayed last night so he could be up early and be there and not have to be picked up at his house by grandpa. they came into the house last night...with Colby following Grandpa, so I couldn't see him behind him...then Grandpa turned around and suddenly had four arms...but then Colby got to giggling... and gave it all away. You just never know what they are going to be doing next. Another hot fudge sundae last night and we tucked him into bed.in sissy's room...she kind of dominates her brothers you know. But she has the pink nightlight for her tree in her room and the electric blanket..so they feel all snuggly...besides my computer is on her desk also.. for playing computer.games. I picked up two "New" raspberry "bushes"..not vines this year to plant...as soon as the weather gets an bit warmer. At any rate, I guess I had better get going for the day...I was up really early this morning and then fell back to sleep again...so now it's later. My cat sitting at my side computing with me...wonder if Diana Sinclair's cat did that also...from time to time he uncurls his arm and tries to catch the cursor as it moves. I think he's probably reading everything I write...yes, he has that look on his face of pure "understanding" it all, most likley pure "telepathy" no doubt... I go for now...Have an good day! |

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 23:58 on 23rd March 2013 That would be nice...did she mentipn what shw was doing these days...besides digging out form the snow herself. They got the last one pretty good, but New England, like Denver is one of the few areas to be the last in getting out of winter. It look slike I have two fo the grandkids tonight...why I have no idea. I just finsihed making my cross outside with violets...one in each four directions...and an center clump of grass....between tow small batches of baby dafodils. After the bubls die down, I'll replant this in an bowl for out back this summer. Therre's an church over at the coast that has just thousands of yellow daffolis in an cross over there...usually bloom for Easter every year. Just go tback from buying Easter Dinner also. Ourneighbor kid came over and tells us his parents are in San Deigo right now. I just talked to her the other day..I guess he's in the process of "house sitting" for them until they get back. Guys are trying to cut down and tree that along with grape vines has loopity looped around an telephone wire out back...biggest problem is the ladder isn't tall enough. I was correct about my son...they already turned in the Nissan Sentra...for the reason I mentioned...they couldn't get the entire family in at once...but thsi one she says is more expensive..and Toyota..but she thinks they are better cars also. White..last one was an classy red job. I am beign told that my grand-daughter has to have ear surgery within the next four months.OSHU is going to do it I guess. Well, I guess I should stop the gab. Talking about people..has anyone ever heard from Barbara since Sid passed on? It would be nice to see some of them coming back. Poor Cathyml can't seem to get her air waves from storms and faulty tranmissions going on in South Africa...maybe some day. I guess we check it oout and see if she comes back tonight. Talk later on. |
