I am no fan of snow but given the choice of snow or wildfires, it would have to be snow every time, those fires look terrifying.

While I'm waiting for this week's results on "Dancing with the Stars" thought I would pop in for an bit...got my bulbs planted...40 Freshia's make good cut flowers...six lilies...replanted an Canna lily in an different place, same for some wild flowers I had growing also.. fertilzed and watered everything in. I did something tonight that I don' t usually do..made some chicken stew with dumplings and surrounded the dumplings with bacon pieces, to munch on like you would toast...I think you people call them "rashers" over there. Watched an show of an couple with one little girl buy an house in Portugal...having lived in London, England. Since thier all glass patio was built in...they used wood panels half way up it and made it the playroom for the little daughter. Complete with an little hammock to swing in. Place for the toys also. So, guess I better go for now..have an nice evening everyone.

They are !!

i lost a home in Atlanta where i used to live, back in 2004, woke up at 4 am to the smoke detector going off,ran to my front door(i lived on a second floor townhome) and there was nothing but flames !!(it was an arsonist who statrted it),,so i know first hand on losing a home to a horrible fire!
