Sadly we've just found a dead badger in our driveway, seems someone ran it over and has dragged it off the road. The local badger people are here now collecting it, it doesn't look very old either Frown

We have quite a few around here Peggy, unfortunately there is now one less. As Ron said it's just a fact of life that they are going to get killed on the roads.

Glad you got the BBQ finished before the rain arrived John, it's just starting to cloud over here, and I believe the rain is coming from your direction. Don't think it's going to be around for long though.

Hubby returned and couldn' t figure out where he kept disappearing to...then I found out, he's fixing the garage door. He brought me back an picture of the son of the little girl I semi-raised growing up..her son...has just finsish his " eagle scout" up in Alaska of all places. I wondered by they hadn' t come by once in awhile and tell me where they were at and what they were doing. Now I know.

Other then that, I can say this last week was an street full of cars most all week long. Monday  they put the house two doors away and on the other side of the street up for sale...and had open house for two days for the realtors...Tuesday, I went to go get my sister and she stayed until Thursday...During this time the house two doors the other direction had an bunch of kids over there into the wee hours of the night and cars along the street..Wednesday night sister in-law came over. .By Thursday everyone had to go as the street is lined with garbage cans to be picked up and cleaned out....by Thursday  I found my cat finally after not coming in until 4 am. Today finds an yard sale in the flag lot across the street and cars lined along the curb...Friday night my neighbors beside me came home from their vacation also, silberstream trailer behind them. Anyway things are finally calming down and will take the granf=daughter back to her house here pretty soon . Long week with an lot of people out and about in oour neighborhood. I was wondering how much they'dput this house up for sale recently...You can take an tour of it at John L. Scott realtors, in Gresham, Oregon..the address is 2458 S. E. Eagle Ave...it's an gray ranch house. It si the smallest one in our area until you get up the street quite an ways on 27th. It's $199,900 or the price they are asking for it. The house directly across from me wentup for $285,000..with an long oval shaped swimming pool and 10.000 sq feet of decking around the entire backyard and along the side of the house at one time. First house up for sale in quite some time as the Reverand let the bank reposs the house he had. The housing economy had fallen flat on it's face when he let it go. This house has no possibilities to the average family, unless they put an carport out along side of the house and make the garage into an huge family room..three bedroom and rwo bath it was originally built by an retired couple. Probably had this guy converted the garage and built an carport along the house, he could of asked $25,000 more for it an got it. He took It back also from the people he sold it to apparently, they divorced...first thing he said to me was...we got the Christmas lights taken down. I had to laugh. Just remember take down your Christmas lights promply if you don't want an divorce.  I guess I had better get going...... Hope your day goes well.
