Well I've lived all my life in Hull apart from 2 x 2 year stints in Felixstowe and if that is right I would never have got it !!!

It's a bit of an educated guess Dave, somewhere at the back of my mind I thought Hull had previously been called something else, I can't remember what but I thought it began with W. I'll probably be miles off course Smile

Well I didn't expect that Smile

Wyke, that's the word that was in my head an wouldn't come out.

Yes John it does have white phone boxes ( well off white)  so does Beverely which is a small market town in East Yorkshire, with a very nice Minster.

Edited to add - I'm having to think now.

You're on the right track with a Scottish Island John.

A single Island I think John, just like the 'single malts' they produce. Quite a few to choose... Islay, Mull, Skye, Scapa to name but a few. But I think the Island Ruth is looking for gives it's name to the whisky that is distilled there???

Jura it is John, well done.

We have a 50cl bottle of 21 year old Jura bought in Oban, the price came as a shock once we'd picked it - £84, we just look at it Smile
