Hiya Rusty there's still bits of the workmens houses around there aswell

I was down the a few month back when a Chinook flew over the top of the dam wall from nowhere and made the hairs on my neck stand.  Its only about half hour drive from me

Hiya John I visit there quite frequently sorry to say (it made it a bit easy)

At the top of Howden Reservoir the hills are called Bleaklow and there's a few aircraft crash sites up thereof the likes of wellingtons etc.Where parts can actually still be seen.  I used to have the gps co-ordinates for them but have mistakenly deleted the email with them on

Not 1 of mine but I think this might interest you John...  http://www.flickr.com/photos/8416429@N08/5039604229/in/photolist-8FkhL6-9vXjpj-ckAMjU-8EhvGw-8Een5P-eTr3hd-97wzvK-bH91wk-e63dau-e63sAY-9thauW-9te8hR-9teh14-9th7jh-fWHmRB-9NDAXV-9NGp9Y-8oVMKV-8DtX8L-8gmu3z-aswivX-buedeb-7DeAeP-7DeA12-buee8j-buedQy-bueemQ-bH92DZ-buedYL-bueeu7-dwsWeQ-dwnpjz-dwsWRo-dwnqiv-dwsWUq-dwsXEy-dwnqav-dwnqkk-dwnpbT-dwnq8Z-dwsXAQ-dwsWts-dwnpmV-dwsWpA-dwsWMb-dwsWZN-dwnoXD-dwsW8s-dwsWaf-dwsXDm-8Bvj7a

Let's see if this lasts a bit longer.

I played a very important roll in the NASA Apollo space programme. A film was made about me in 2000. Who/what am I ?
