Afternoon everyone, sorry to hear you're still having snow Richard Frown

Weather has been OK so far this week here. Our bad news is that the car is terminally sick. We've spent a small fortune on it in the last 18 months, now the gear box is bust, so it's having to go we can't be doing with throwing more money at it for something else to go wrong next week. It's 9 years old, so time for a newer one.

We do a lot of miles John, it's got nearly 135000 miles on the clock. We were looking for around £1500 in part exchange, but a new gear box is £1500, so we're just going to have to salvage the road atlas and a few other bits and bobs and sell it for scrap. We've made our mind up that next time we will keep it for a maximum of three years then sell it before things start going wrong. This is the fourth time we've hung on and it's cost us a fortune.

The weather has been the best we have had for months, so had a good old tidy up in the garden. Hope you are managing the white stuff Wink

At risk of sounding like a stuck record we are liable to lose poe without more cash, so look at the forums and please help if you can

Thanks

I plan on another donation on me next pay day( next week)

I've shopped online for food this week having no transport, what is it with me and getting vegetables wrong ? I once ended up with a butternut squash the size of the needles lighthouse, then there was the time I ended up with enough broccoli to feed the village, and now - anyone short of carrots Undecided
