True Ruth--the buses are well subsidised by the government thats why there are so many on the road.

I have a pass which i only use twice a week which is very handy --it saves me £4-40p for a round trip but its surprising how many people get on to go 2/3 stops and pay £2-20p wait till you are 60 Ruth then you can join the "twirlies"Wink

It's pensionable age for the bus passes now James, I don't get my pension until I'm 66, so I've still got a 12 year wait Smile

David missed out too, he gets his at 65, so 4 years for him, until then we pay.

Fuel bills should be dropping quickly pretty soon..temps are getting up into the 60's, even if it raining lightly and wet...did my first Spring walk of the season yesterday.
