John you should have probably given it a couple more days rest Smile

James, we've not ventured too far over the border, about 5 miles for a walk round Hollingworth Lake, which is actually Greater Manchester, but the old stone sign at the top of our road still says Lancashire painted with a red rose, and of course the white rose on the other side for when you're coming back Smile

I'm always around James but have lots to deal with one way and another.

The knee is getting better slowly (I think) but fluid builds up on both the knee and the ankle despite what I try to do, meaning if I sit still with leg raised it swells, sit with leg down it swells, work/walk about it swells and so it goes on. The professionals told me it could take up to 12 months before it's sorted.

It was done January 31st so just 3 months ago, early days maybe?

Thanks for your input also Ruth, it's appreciated.

You could be right Ron, early days yet, give it time, everyone heals at a different rate probably with different niggles along the way.

Well, Ron, I got slammed on my face over at the neighobrs about an month or so ago and it's still an scar on my knee. I felt like the servant being slammed on my knees to pay homage to the Gods or something though..bunch of BS. Been busy today, but it's just started around here, first I had to sit an listen to my sister's problems...Jehova witness showed up.. If there's one thing I am not...it's an car mechanic.I don' t know if the guys will help her or not...they are getting the week day nights filled in as bad as the weekends any more. We just did an stint of seeing hubby maybe four nights out of the last three weeks. So I guess you know, when he is home, he don't wanna do nothing either. But he was saved by Grace this week... and strung up my green beans for me the easy way, plus had my grandson here helping him. Glad we are good to nicer weather...after tomarrow we get two days of in the low 80's for the first time this year. My yard bugs have already had thier Springtime "sex orgy" out back and look well for another year. I only lost one due to it's landing on fresh paint. Roses need the black leaf spot stuff...to stop that one. ... Best get going for now.
