In 1967, Jay Rosenberg wrote a small book called "Impoversished Students' Book of Cookery, Drinkery and Housekeepery." In it he wrote, "To impress a young woman, build a stereo system, twiddle the knobs and talk about the swamp throbble reciprocator." There is no such thing as a swamp throbble reciprocator . Retro Encabulators don't exist either.Comedians made spoof videos about them.

Had an idea so let's see how we do- I can do sums and you can wind me up but do not mistake me for a can of Coke. Edited by: Vince Hawthorn at:8th July 2014 22:33 |

I have seen one back in the day but never used on e myself. Had someone in the shop today, must have been as into aviation as you are. He did say there maybe an issue keeping the Vulcan aloft. Also reckoned they might be trying to get the 2 flying Lancasters to do a fly over while the third one does it's taxi run- that would be one for the camera!! |

So that will be worth going fpr. Also the Hull Veterans weekend early Sept supposed to have the Battle of Britain flight doing a pass. |
