We had an bridge..walk and bike run in Portland today, 18,000 people I guess did this..I wonder if they finished early this morning before it no" kind of event to attend. Not good for people with health problems. It includes the long benefit walks also. He says to leave them for the under 50 group..that are well excerised before hand to take it. Suppose to be an 100 degrees tomarrow...already massive rain stretching between Eugene Oregon and Bed Oregon, earlier had 315 strikes during the weather report. Suppose to move up the valley as well as eastern Oregon by tomarrow...then drastic drops of temperature..about 10 degrees the next couple of days as we have thunder storms and rain. Grass looks crappy out there in my front yard...no matter what I do at the moment. I throw my hands up and walk away. I just talked to my sister..she says...what are we going to do tomarrow, I said "Not much" with 100 degrees...bring an book or something you like doing in craft work maybe. I guess we could go to an movie.  Anyway...for 2 hours around 5 qm..temperatures drop down to 76 for tonight's low. I think I'll sleep next to the air conditioner maybe...listen to talk radio tonight. A lot of people are commenting about the inability to sleep in this heat. As I said this is not our typical weather pattern.

Lots of interfernce with the text posting now...Bend Oregon..not Bed Oregon..perhaps this is someone into ponorgraphic stuff?..using my web site to do it illegally?...if not an just an idiot butt head? Whomever, they seem to read my mind as to what I have on it, to jump right in there ahead of time.... and do it themselves. I go for now.

Hi Everyone, had that locked in feeling today as the big bike race was on again even if a couple of bits were taken off the route for safety, Leith Hill and Box Hill . The wind and rain has been pretty rough but not so bad as some places I have seen on the news ( how is it in Hull Dave?). Hope everyone is ok and not had any issues with the weather.

Still seeing green boxes this end, hope it is not too big a glitch.

A bit wet and windy which was good in that I didn't have to go out and cut the grass. So caught up with a few things and watched the bike race on TV late afternoon. Stiill seeing green boxes although a few images sneaked through Sunday morning .. Very strange

Hum,  Brtion's forgot to tell me about your Berwyn Mountains UFO incident..supposedly as good as any "Rosewell"...the book by *Steven Lumley" comes out shortly, though it apears to me it's already been out. They were saying that this took place near Wales, but the UFO's are known from north Wales to Liverpool...maybe some Music inspiration for the Beattles? So, I was up until about 3 am last night listening to this story on Coasttocoastam.com...on the radio.  I had an equally difficult time dong that until the big ole super moon got to the south side of the house...and the two radio stations straightened themselves correctly..possibly seen this morning by an the eartquakes along the equator around Mexico to the Puerto Rico area.... But I'm draggin this morning from lack of sleep. So now I've picked up my sister and we go see an movie today. Still warning of Thunderstorms tonight and into Tuesday here. Talk later on...Have an good day.

If this link works this site gives the intended itinerary for the Lancasters

http://www.warplane.com/lancaster-2014-uk-tour.aspx

Looks like they are gonna be quite busy, so lets hope they get good weather. I'll be going to Louth with my mate Sept 6-7. The small steam railway at Ludborough is having its 40s weekend and Both Lancasters are planned to fly over both day

Tried to get the link working, but to no avail

I tried the link above- just takes me to James on page 10 of this tread.

I found the dates somewhere but can't remember   where now, just noted that both Lancs will display at Herne Bay Airshow. Seems they are at a number of shows and must tour various sites in one day. The nearest to us will be Wings and Wheels at Dunsfold later on.

Afternoon everyone, it's warm enough here but we keep getting heavy downpours in amongst the sunshine. Not really a day for setting off walking anywhere without the risk of getting soaked.
