We are half way between two major Northern cities, Manchester and Leeds and we never visit either. I prefer the snow covered windswept moors. That said we can't even get to them at the moment, it's still snowing. Glad to hear you've got your knee appointment James, 4 visits to the doc in 2 weeks, let's hope he puts you right. We've had to cancel mums over 85 health check tomorrow, there's no way on earth we will be able to get there. I have her shopping list so sometime tomorrow or Friday we'll have to try and get out to do her shopping. Anyway she'll not starve her cupboards and freezer are always well stocked at this time of year. |

Which is perhaps as well with all the appointments mother has for various things. The snow has stopped but it's not thawed ar all, time to brave the shopping, when we've uncovered the car. See you later |

I still await my eye test, which he said he's send out the results to the doctor and myself. He said he didn't see any damage as of yet on them from the diabetes. This gaining andlosing wieight is an ping pong at about 5 pounds going on constantly for me. One that's an struggle also in keeping it down thsi time of the year. I got the bookcase downstairs half cleaned up, but not without feeling like I took and bath in silver and brass polish and with the dust now have an sore throat. I'm not done with it yet, but not to many shelves left to get it straighted out for this year. Listened to "coast" last night and was an very interesting show, he's got an thing going this week, where you can access any of his shows for free, just go to www.BeyondBelief.com" or his the link over in their home page...coasttocoastam.com. I liked how this guy did his research work, he didn't take the word of newspapers, he went out and they deal with exactly what the archeologists had dug up. he says these large skeltons showed up to be in the 7 to 8 foot range, to been leaders in thier tribe, and to been cannibals, and to have for the most part been killed off by their tribe...they were an strong warrior type also...kill or be killed type. It reminds me of the Cherokee "double-head" as he fits this type of profile also. He had talked his warriors into cannabilism of his captured also...and yes, everyone was out to kill him. They did also. But he left an mark in history of his brutality to humanity just the same. He talked some on the mounds, which he says there's known 10,000 of them across the country and how they believed in what is called the "Path of the Soul"..and that we have two souls..one is earth bound and the other goes out into life...to reincarnate or go onward. He said it appears with some of their thoughts on this influenced by Egyption thoughts also in ways. The soul tied to the earth, was one where the "ghosts" came from..kind of an aftermath of the person that had died...until it returned to the earth. He said getting to heaven was said to been an portal in Orion's belt at about 4 am that opened in the morning sunrise...and lead one into the milky way as stars were thought to been people's souls also. At that time is when you ran into your "judger" and were examined for goodness and good works while you were alive and allowed to pass or were sent back to reincarnate. For the most part the show was on Edgar Cacey and his writings during his lifetime. He says that he never put an "time" on the end days or on his earth changes he forsaw. ..they could be tomarrow..they could be an million years from now before they happened. They are apparently doing an book on the wirtings he gave to famous people also...if they came true or not. I go for now..staying up to listen until 2 am, see's me sleeping until about 10 am an I get up with not much daylight to get things done around here. Tomarrow will be some 58 degrees...that's Spring temperatures, not winter ones. Maybe some more rain incoming also...but not much. Have an good day. |

It's forecast it to freeze tonight too so the pavements will be like glass. Ah well, roll on Spring |
