I gave Mrs Cornett her family papers today I have been working on..I'm glad to get away from the work..I always said she looked like George Washington in an pony tail.... and her maternial lineage is married to them, I said that before I knew it also...I explained to her how we were related three diffferent ways today.

Ruth if you were given these family graves, it's most likey because they are on private ground and unless the family knows about them, they will be lost to anyone that ownes the ground outside the family. Oregon is one of those kind of states, it allowed people to be buried on their property but never set aside arrangments to take care of the graves...and other people just don' t do it..take my word for it...in fact back east they plowed the stones off the Rev. Edward Chenoweth Church Yard cemetary and built fancy new cheapy houseing units on the top of it...tore the church down. Sometimes what's left on the tombstone is all that survives in information some days...you need to find them..... and get an "rubbing" off the stone to keep the information...then it will last forever if the stone doesn't...anyone wants a copy...xerox it off.  Going back to Missouri clarified an Federal document of whom was married to whom in hubby's family...it appears we find out the sister in-law and brother in-law survived their spouses in old age and apparently lived together after thier spouses died...when the census came through they gave their names correctly... but it looked like they were husband an wife. Back then that is what they did the older brother took care of the next younger of kin. Sometimes it's helpful, other times it is not. Took me all day finisihing my work off and delivering it..I hope she enjoys it...large large family. So.... I go rest an bit an talk to you all tomarrow.

Good afternoon everyone, back home after taking mum shopping etc. I must say the £264 of new tyres don't feel any different to the old ones. MOT and service next week lets see what that brings.

Afternoon Pat, sounds like a very nice walk.

I had to go for my ears springing a couple of years ago, I was dreading it, having heard a few horror stories from my mum, I should have just ignored her, there was nothing to it.

Hope the car passes James after what you forked out last week Surprised

Well,  our govenor just resigned and they swore in an Lady that held the office under him...Kate Brown. He was facing an possible "criminal" investigation from his long time girlfriend dipping into state money to buy things...like a $1,000 bottle of perfume. So now he can live happily ever after...without having to be investigated and brought up in court. He's been on an steady slow downhill desent for some years now anyway.  My neighbor was telling me yesterday that Harlan and Alma lived together 20 years and never married until they bought their house out here, and as I said...people do it all the time...and as prices go up and wages don't its coming into fashion for many these days. Washington State just had an 4.4 quake south of where my sister in-law lived when she was alive...Cle lem...tiny town. Must be an Native American name maybe.  Other then that, maybe rain showers today,

I finally am closer to being "on program" with my weight this morning. We went out for an Salmon dinner last night for our anniversary...the whole town looked "deader then an door nail" last night...restrurant included.  But that's over with for this year also. I pick up the remeants of my research work... and move on with somethng else as they say. So have an good day everyone!

They are money pits John, there's always something even if it's only minor.

Glad you found you're relative in Australia John, I can't believe Nic still hasn't been in touch, the only consolation is that no news is good news.
